Incredibly affordable
After seeing the mascaras from essnce praised to the skies, I decided to give it a try. When my mascara from Estee Lauder was singing its last verse, I pulled this one from Essnce. My expectations weren't exactly sky-high for this mascara, which I can typically buy five of for the price of my previous one. But hey, it's so good. The blackness is nice, the longevity is incredible, and at the same time, it's easy to wash off with my regular cleanser. It gives a pretty natural result, but of course, my thin lashes get a bit of volume and length. If I were to point out something, it would be the brush. It's made of silicone and a bit too soft for my taste. I would have liked to see a brush with a bit of resistance that can be rubbed properly against the lashes without bending. And I'm not a fan of the packaging. My 14-year-old self would have been thrilled, but as a 40-year-old, I don't quite feel like I belong to the target group for this product (or brand). However, considering the surprising quality, I'm generous enough to overlook that. This will definitely be a repurchase!Translated from swedish
