Elxir pads
I bought toner pads from Elixir AHA BHA, but received a product with brown pads and brown sealing. I complained about this and was sent a new box, but this one also had brown pads. I have been using this product for over 3 years, and have never experienced this before. Can you explain what this is due to, and if the product is safe to use?

The comment was made 2 weeksHi May Thu!❤️ As mentioned in bold in the product text, this is stated. ‘It has been discovered that some jars have discoloration in the seal, and that the plastic film in the lid may be a bit stuck. This is due to the liquid in the cushions reacting with the glue in the seal – a chemical process that can occur over time and is called oxidation. Although this may not look so nice, we want to emphasize the following: - The product is completely safe to use - The effect and quality are not affected’ Therefore, these have also been priced down. Have a nice day✨

Brown on the product
Got this today. The seal was brown?! And the first 2 pads were gross(?) brown and just don’t look particularly inviting to put on my face. At this price, I find it disappointing to receive such products… Not sure if it’s dangerous - but if it’s oxidation that could be the cause, then it’s still not something I as a customer want to receive when I pay for a product. I still tested the pads that were further down, and it burned my face. Hope I don’t wake up with an allergic reaction tomorrow. Will not use these again… very sad to have to throw money out the window. Adding pictures1 product in post Brown on the product115 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. Blackheads
Hi. I have a 14-year-old son who struggles with a lot of blackheads on his nose. He is not particularly troubled by acne. He hardly has any. What products can he use to solve the "blackhead" problem?1 product in post Blackheads300 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 1 monthHeyhey! Since your son is only 14 years old, I would recommend a line that is tailored for teenagers and their often more sensitive skin. Feel free to check out these products from Dermalogica lyko.com/no/dermalogica/tenaringshud-clearstart Hope you have a nice day 💫

Isotretinoin
Hi. Can these be used when I'm on isotretinoin?1 product in post Isotretinoin - The post was made 8 monthsRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
Works!
There are many in the box, so you don't need to buy often. Seems to have a good effect. Has some impurities in the T-zone that it reduces.1773 views - The post was made 9 months
Pregnant
Hi! Can this be used when pregnant? Additionally, I have Oil Control Serum. Can this be used when pregnant and if so, together or should one for example use pads at night and serum during the day? I also use niactil, ultradefence gel, and sunscreen.1713 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 9 monthsHey Malin 💌 During pregnancy and breastfeeding, your skin is under hormonal influences, and with this, the skin can change🤰🏼 During pregnancy, the general advice is not to use products that contain retinol (Vitamin A). You should also avoid active ingredients such as acids. Since the skin is extra sensitive during pregnancy and breastfeeding, you should make sure to use UV protection every day, as pigmentation can more easily occur during this period. This can be difficult to treat later if you are not good at protecting your skin. The most important thing during pregnancy is to use gentle products that moisturize and protect the skin✨💪 Since you may experience becoming more sensitive in the skin during pregnancy and breastfeeding, we always recommend sticking to a short routine morning and evening, where you focus on using minimal anti-aging products. Here, I would recommend possibly distributing the products into their own routines on different days, so that you do not over-treat the skin or the ingredients in the products "clash". ☀️Morning: 1. Cleanser 2. Niactil 4% 3. Ultradefense 4. SPF 🌙Evening: 1. Cleanser 2. Clearskin Pads 3. Oil Control Serum 4. Final moisturizer Elixir Cosmeceuticals Ultradefense Repair Gel - contains Retinoids Elixir Cosmeceuticals Oil Control Serum - contains BHA, PHA (acids) Elixir Cosmeceuticals Clearskin Pads - contains BHA, PHA, AHA (acids) Elixir Cosmeceuticals Niactil 4% - contains BHA If you are unsure about use, it is always recommended to consult with a doctor before introducing skincare during pregnancy 💌 Wishing you a nice day ahead!1 likes

I struggle with pores and need the right pads that help, which do you recommend? I used Neostrata's, it was really nice for glow but not for pores.1 likes

Clearskin pads and retinol
Hi! I'm wondering if I can use "Clearskin pads" at the same time as using retinol? Thinking about using the pads in the morning and "Retinext" in the evening 😊1261 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 10 monthsHey Karoline 💓 It’s definitely smart to be a little careful when using both "Clearskin pads" and retinol, as both products can be a bit strong for the skin if used at the same time. Generally, it’s not recommended to use them at the same time, but it’s fine to spread them out over day and night! 🌞🌙 You can definitely use "Clearskin pads" in the morning and "Retinext" in the evening. This way, you give your skin time to adjust to both products without it being too much at once 😄 Also remember to be diligent with sun protection during the day, especially when using retinol! ☀️💖 Have a radiant day! 🌸2 likes

Is it washed off?
It looks like this should be used after cleansing, should you use this and then continue with your routine (serum, etc.) or should you cleanse after use? :) And is it best to use this in the morning or evening? :)1685 views- The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. The comment was made 11 monthsHeihei 👋 It depends a bit on what skin type and skin condition you have, as well as what other products you use in your morning and evening routines! But generally, this product is recommended to be used in the evening routine 2-3 times a week after cleansing the face. Here, you can let your skin breathe for 1-2 minutes before applying serums and moisturizer after using the peeling 🙌 Wishing you a nice day ahead 🥰1 likes

Normal/sensitive skin
Can this be used by someone with normal and slightly sensitive skin around the nose? Occasionally, I get small breakouts that I think are perioral dermatitis, especially in low temperatures. This goes away if I’m good at moisturizing my skin and not using heavy creams.1418 views- The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. The comment was made 1 yearHi Eirin 🤗 It should be perfectly fine to use these pads as a gentle peeling 1-2 times a week. Since they contain active ingredients, it's important to proceed with caution and preferably avoid the most sensitive areas! Start with 1 night a week and see how your tolerance is, then you can gradually increase usage as needed 👍 If you suspect perioral dermatitis, I recommend seeing a dermatologist to possibly get this confirmed 🤍 Wishing you a nice day!

Combination
Can this be combined with Niactil 4%? If yes; do you use the pads first, and then Niactil?2300 views- The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. The comment was made 1 yearsHi Iselin🤗 These can be nicely combined, and it’s true that you use the pads first on cleansed skin before you proceed with Niactil👋🏻 Wishing you a great day!1 likes
Face FormulaClearClearskin Pads 60 pcs
Select size
60 pcs60 pcsClearskin Pads contain salicylic acid and glycolic acid, among other ingredients, which effectively combat impurities, reduce congestion, the appearance of pores, and inhibit inflammation in the skin. The active ingredients penetrate deeply into the skin and provide an effective exfoliation that removes dead skin cells, resulting in smoother and cleaner skin, without causing dryness or irritation to the skin barrier. Recommended as a peel for those with sensitive and oily/combination skin to prevent and treat acne, congestion, and reduce the appearance of large pores.
Use:
Gently sweep a pad over the face or on affected areas 2-7 times a week after cleansing. Avoid the eye area. In the first few weeks, breakouts may increase due to the opening of the sebaceous glands, known as a purging phase. If irritation occurs, reduce usage. Combine with high sun protection and limit sun exposure as the skin becomes more sensitive to AHA and BHA acids. WARNING: Excessive use may lead to skin irritation. For best results, gradually incorporate Clearskin Pads into your skincare routine.
