    Creams

Many people say that you get very dry when using the creams. Do you have any tips for moisturizing creams to use afterwards that go well with this one?

    Incredible product!

This really works! I was absolutely skeptical about the price of this product, but it lasts incredibly long since you only need very little each time. Tip; Use the small part of the spatula to scoop up the product and then distribute the small amount on the problem area. No more than that is needed. Remember to moisturize once the product has sunk in, otherwise there is a risk of dryness. I have tried pretty much everything for my perioral dermatitis. Already after the first night, I could see a difference, the problem areas had calmed down. After about 7 days, my skin was better than ever. #lykoreview

I want to start by saying that this product is a lifesaver in need! I bought my jar about a year ago if I remember correctly. How long does it last once opened!?

Hey Sandra 👋😊 Check your jar, there should be an "open jar" symbol, the number in the symbol indicates how many months the product lasts after opening 🤍 This version is no longer in stock, otherwise I would have double-checked this for you 🤗

Perioral Dermatitis + atopic eczema & sensitive skin

Hi, I suffer from atopic eczema and have had it since I was little, but I very rarely get eczema on my face or body at all nowadays as an adult. However, I also suffer from dry & sensitive skin. I have now developed perioral dermatitis around my mouth/nose after I changed most of my skincare routine all at once about 2 months ago, and started using exfoliating products & stronger Retinal. All of this has made my skin completely freak out. I have stopped using these products, as well as SPF since it can irritate. I am now only using a mild cleanser & moisturizer from Cetaphil, and have been prescribed Finacea (Azelaic acid) which I have only managed to apply for 2 days. Do you think this could work for my PD that has flared up?

Hey Ingvill 😊 Yes, the information I find is that Face Formula SOS Paste can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding as it does not contain active ingredients that could be harmful to skin or fetus/baby, but always use a moisturizer on top to counteract any drying from sulfur. Feel free to try it on a small area first to see how your skin feels🤰🏼 Hope the answer can be helpful and that you have a super nice day💫

Hey Sandra 💌 Face Formula SOS Paste is an intensive care product that can be good for irritated, sensitive, and vulnerable skin, and many with reactive skin experience relief with it. When it comes to rosacea, the product can help soothe warm, red, and irritated skin, but it is important to be aware that rosacea is a medical skin condition that often requires targeted treatment and care. 💡 Tips for rosacea: -Keep the routine simple and gentle -Avoid strong exfoliants and alcohol-based products -Always use sun protection ☀️ Test products on a small area to see how your skin reacts. If you are unsure what is best for your skin, it may also be wise to talk to a dermatologist. Have a lovely day ahead💖

Removes perioral dermatitis in no time

Had severe perioral dermatitis since the beginning of October and nothing helped, bought this at the end of December and in 3-5 days it’s completely gone! However, you should apply this, let it sit for a while, and then apply the area with Bepanthen Sensicalm over it, otherwise it gets very dry! 100% worth the price if nothing else has worked.

    Combine

Can this be combined with Klairs midnight blue calming cream in a tube? How should one combine? I have extreme perioral dermatitis around my eyes. Are there any tips on what to use as an alternative around the eyes? I feel like trying this around my eyes anyway because nothing seems to help..

Hi Vickie😊 Thank you for your question✨ I can understand your frustration, and SOS Paste is unfortunately not recommended for use near the eye area, especially not with perioral dermatitis – it contains sulfur, which can easily irritate. However, you can use it locally on other areas and then apply Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream on top to soothe the skin. For the area around the eyes, it might be better to opt for a mild, soothing eye cream with ceramides or centella, as it is gentler on sensitive skin. Here’s a tip for an eye cream that calms and that many appreciate especially for sensitivity and that also suits PD skin: lyko.com/sv/la-roche-posay/la-roche-posay-toleriane-dermallergo-eyes-20-ml With severe PD around the eyes, it’s always best to consult with healthcare before trying stronger spot treatments. I hope the answer can be helpful and that you have a lovely day❄️

Face FormulaSOS Paste 30 ml

Article has expired and is no longer available

The SOS Paste is a problem solver that helps with a variety of skin issues. It is effective against various types of skin imbalances and is used locally on the problem area. With its high concentration of sulfur, it inhibits inflammation and provides a noticeable improvement in acne, rosacea, perioral dermatitis, redness with rashes, bumps, and seborrheic eczema after a short treatment period. The cream treats, prevents, and calms without causing irritation.

Use:
Apply a thin layer locally to breakouts or affected areas. Primarily recommended for evening use, but in cases of severe outbreaks, it can also be used morning and evening. To reduce potential dryness, it's recommended to spot treat with moisturizer afterward.

For acne: Use for 3 consecutive evenings.
For rosacea: Use for 3 evenings in one week, with a day's break between each application.
For perioral dermatitis: Use for 10 consecutive days, morning and evening, then take a break for 3 days before spot treating in the evenings if outbreaks persist.
