But this one just stopped working as the casing popped open right in the middle of use, right after heating up, as the rubber mount gave way. So sad. Was attracted by the warranty and hairdresser tips. But of all the electronic gadgets I've bought, I've never experienced such a bad warranty. The warranty overrides consumer rights, so you only get help if it's a factory defect, not if it stopped working within three years. Not if you've had normal use (once a week). They judge this only by a photo and the product is not inspected but still deny the claim. I'm actually amazed myself as I've worked with electronics and never denied a customer a claim during the warranty period. However, they haven't given money back in the first place. Repair or replacement with an equivalent product is usually standard. A bit interesting that I've gotten help with claims on mirrors and other irons where pins have come loose, but if you try to get help with a ghd iron, it's you as the customer who's been careless. General advice is probably customer service and trust your internal core. If you stop being familiar, you'll lose customers in the premium segment. Good iron as long as it lasted but won't buy in that price range again.418 views

Also nice design and an extra plus that it shuts off by itself after a while so you don't have to leave home and be worried! I always use it together with heat protection from GHD. But even though I am satisfied with the flat iron and it works well, I might have expected a liiitle more considering the price. Now I have also had it for just over two years and feel that it has already become a bit worn, takes a little longer to straighten, etc. Ps, it works great for curling hair too! I never do it myself as I prefer straight hair on me, but I have lent it to friends who have curled with it and it turned out super pretty! #lykomission2119 views

But now it has completely given up, it just beeped and stopped. I've had straighteners from significantly cheaper brands that have lasted for several years without any problems! Unfortunately, my warranty has expired now, so I will have to buy a new straightener. Apparently, this is a common problem with platinum+. So annoying since I've heard so many good things about Ghd! I've heard in hindsight that Original is supposed to be better. Otherwise, it was good when it worked.7031 views
