    World's Best Oil

I love this oil so much. I have tried bonding products but they don't really seem to be my thing, this one however. My hair was dry and frizzy and damaged but not anymore. I took a generous amount on a dry, bleached strand that was sticking out in all directions, a few hours and a wash later it was like new. Smells incredible. I have nothing negative to say. Using it together with Björn Axén repair shampoo and Aussie SOS mask.

    .

Hey, I haven't used a flat iron in several years and I've forgotten how to style my hair without burning/damaging it. My question is, should you use this oil before using the flat iron or like, blow-dry the hair? Do you have more tips on what to do before styling hair with heat, etc. without damaging the hair?

Hey there! 👋 This oil is used with advantage on damp towel-dried hair before blow-drying as it has heat protection up to 260°C. An oil can easily be perceived as too much in the hair if used again, as you want to protect the hair before the flat iron, and then you could take a look at: lyko.com/sv/har/styling/varmeskydd/waterclouds-heat-protection-spray-200ml So make sure to care for your hair before you start with your heat tool, simply 🥰👌

    Good, neutral scent, heavy formula

I have used Kérastase's Elixir Ultime for many years, but since the price has basically doubled and the content has decreased from 100ml to 75ml, I no longer find it economically justifiable to buy. Therefore, I chose to try this. However, this oil is at least twice as thick, I feel that it weighs down my fine hair, but I will try to use less and see. It smells good and the hair becomes shiny, and it removes the frizz I usually get at the ends.

    Good considering the price

I have tried to find a replacement for Kerastase Elixir Ultime, I have used them for years but now they raised the price by several hundred dollars and I had to switch. This one is not as good but totally okay. The hair doesn't get frizzy and looks shinier, a bit oilier look than Kerastase but for the price, I am still satisfied, will however try another oil after this.

I have the exact same problem. I have also used that oil for several years, but now I refuse to buy it. I agree that Lanza's is greasier since it is almost twice as thick in consistency. I give you 10 out of 10 in your rating. Describes the product just like you :)

The rescue for my dry hair

My hair feels so good after I started using this oil. I have thin/fine medium-length hair. Before it was so dry and brittle despite masks and heat protection.. I take one pump and distribute it in the lengths of towel-dried hair before I blow-dry, and then I also take a mini dab and smooth it into the lengths after I’ve blow-dried it. The hair becomes so moisturized and healthy and leaves no greasy/sticky feeling at all. I love it! I also use heat protection since I only apply the oil to the lengths.

    Question

I have been using this for several years. But I experience that my hair is breaking in many places towards my face. Could it be that the hair is «overprocessed»? It contains keratin, right? I can't understand what makes it never grow out and keeps breaking over and over again. I use salon products and never bleach. Or color. I also never use heat on my hair.

Hi Carmen! The hair on your face is often a bit more fragile than the hair on the rest of your head, and unfortunately has a much easier tendency to break... the most important thing you can do here is to make sure you trim your hair regularly so that you cut off any split ends that can break off 🤍 I also recommend taking a look at Kerastase's Genesis line, which is fantastic for hair that can easily break 👇🏼 lyko.com/no/kerastase/harvard/genesis?fromsearch=genesis Hope this helps you! Have a really great weekend ☃️

    Wonderful and Light ✨

This is a hair oil I always return to, have used this one for many years. Tried a few different ones in between but always come back to this. It is a bit heavy, but only if you take too much, half a pump is all you need to give frizz-free and shiny hair, apply to wet hair but add a little more when I style and it becomes silky and shiny ✨💖

    Lanza or luxe oil?

I’m wondering if anyone has tried both SP luxe oil (keratin) and this one from Lanza, and can say a bit about whether they are similar/what is different? Is this worth trying?

Hi Celine! I would say that this one is even a bit more full-bodied and thicker in consistency, compared to SP Luxe Oil which is relatively light. I would probably use this on thicker/coarser hair while SP's works well for a slightly thinner/finer. But as long as you don't use too much, both oils could definitely be used by all hair types 🤭 Have a nice day!
