Goal Black/brown to blonde
Great product that gently removes color from the hair. This time used on my daughter's hair, which is thin and Scandinavian. Hardly any hair fell out and the bleaching was even. In the after picture, the color looks uneven due to moisture in the hair.1391 viewsto leave a comment - Most helpful negative9 monthsRating: 1 out of 5
Not what I expected…
So I had a whim to get rid of my red hair and try to go back to a more “natural” hair color, i.e., back to my Scandinavian original color. I know it wouldn’t go back after one time, but I thought all the red would wash out, and then I could put a toner on afterward. But no. It feels a bit pointless to have held on for so long with the stench, plastic wrap, and heat (three things I have such a hard time with) for a nonexistent result. I do NOT recommend this product. (And no, I didn’t buy the product through Lyko but at Ica, but it’s exactly the same product)6760 views- Customer service at Lyko9 monthsHey Michelle 🤗 Just like Therese says, red tones can stick like glue, and a second round with colorless may be needed. I still think you got a very nice result from one round 🤍 Remember to wait about a week before you put a toner in your hair to avoid risking any chemical reaction. So you get the color you want 🙏2 likes

Bad
I have naturally black hair and have previously dyed it both brown and black. Three weeks ago, I dyed my hair brown again, but the result was uneven – only the roots took the color while the rest of the hair remained black. To try to remove the old color, I tested a product that promised color removal. But instead of removing the color pigments, it just lightened the hair and made it brighter. So it worked more like a bleaching than a real color removal.18 views- Customer service at Lyko1 dayHello 🤗 Thank you for sharing your experience! I understand that you are dissatisfied with the result ❤️ The result can vary depending on what has been used previously, and to help you further, I recommend that you take our hair color test. There, our hairdressers will recommend products for you to use to achieve the desired result 💫😍 lyko.com/sv/beauty-scan/harfargstestet

Bleaching
I was (was blonde) and put in a color bomb so my hair turned dark gray, was not satisfied at all, so I did a “home bleaching” to get rid of the color bomb, but it didn’t work at all, so instead my hair turned green/gray. I bought a hair dye (light blonde) and put it in but it’s still green and gray in some areas. Can I use this to get rid of everything and go back to how I was from the beginning? Like blonde.124 views- Hairdresser at Lyko1 weekHey Belsbelsan21! 👋🏼☺️ To get rid of unwanted pigment, you can start by using a deep cleansing shampoo so you avoid unnecessary wear, this one from Malibu c is usually great 👉🏼 lyko.com/sv/malibu-c/malibu-c-un-do-gooshampoo-266ml?fromsearch=malibu+c+un+do+goo Shampoo several times and let the shampoo sit for 10 minutes, finish with a moisturizing mask 🤗 Have a nice day 🍂

Superdupergood
I can't understand why this product gets such a low rating from many. I have long, curly hair that I've dyed brown at home for many years (I'm naturally dark blonde). After many at-home dye jobs, my hair has finally become dark, almost black. I tried the bleach yesterday to lighten my hair, I didn't expect to get my natural hair color back in one go, after surely a thousand dark dye jobs over the years. The product smelled strong, but all bleaches, hair dyes, and lighteners do. I was afraid my hair would turn orange since there were a lot of red pigments in it. But I think I got a super nice brown/light brown shade. Much better than expected! My hair also smells really good, like after the hairdresser. My hair is very porous/dry, and I was a bit afraid it would break. But you can tell that the product is gentle on the hair. I much prefer to use a gentle product several times, rather than something super strong that makes the hair break. I think many have way too high expectations, thinking that the bleach should remove all old color in one go. It's not that simple, especially if you've dyed your hair many times. It's a process to go from dyed hair to natural hair color. As I said, I'm very pleased that my hair became many shades lighter. I'm thinking of doing another treatment in a week. (My hair was black from the start, so there was a significant difference! One more treatment and it will be 👌👌).1020 viewsto leave a comment - 2 months
Hi important!
Can you lose hair from this?559 views- Customer service at Lyko2 monthsHey! This product is intended for hair color removal. The product does not cause hair breakage/fall out if used correctly 😊 Of course, fragile hair can break with excessive use 🫶🏻

Dark brown to chocolate brown
Hi! I just dyed my hair at a salon, and it turned out much darker than I expected. My roots are almost black, but it's a bit lighter on the rest of my hair since my hair was previously bleached blonde and my roots are my natural light brown color. I therefore have two questions: - I would like to have more chocolate brown hair than my current black-brown. I would therefore just like to be about 1 shade lighter. Is it possible to control this in any way, e.g. by how long you leave the color remover in? - Can anything be said about how much lighter the previously bleached hair will be compared to the roots? I assume it will be a bit uneven. Thanks in advance! :)669 views- Customer service at Lyko2 monthsHey Olivia ☺️ Oh! It’s a bit tricky with hair colors and shades. I really recommend doing our hair color test via the LYKO app. There you get tailored feedback on how to do it and which products to use, to get just the shade you dream of! 🤍 The ones helping you are trained hairdressers and hair experts! 😍 You can find the test via the link: lyko.com/sv/beauty-scan2 All the best! 🩷

Question
I dyed my hair black this summer and i wanna go back to my light brown, im gonna use about 2 boxes but how many days should i wait in between?3296 views- Customer service at Lyko7 monthsHello Julia! ☺️ When transitioning from black to light brown, it's important to give your hair some time between dyeing sessions to avoid excessive damage. Ideally, you should wait around 7 to 10 days between applications to give your hair time to recover. This helps prevent over-processing and gives your hair a chance to heal. Make sure to use deep conditioning treatments to nourish your hair during this process 🤍 Take care!2 likes

TIPS & TRICKS:
This product works by releasing the molecules of the colored hair, and occasionally, if the hair isn't rinsed out thoroughly, remnants of the old hair dye might stick around and cause a smell.
That's why it's crucial to rinse your hair properly for 5 minutes if it's short and 10 minutes if it's long and thick, as recommended in the instructions.
Caught with lingering odors? Don't worry, we've got you covered with some handy tricks.
To banish any persistent smells from your hair, try the following concoction:
1. Combine 10% water-soluble baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) with 90% water and leave it in your hair for 5-10 minutes.
2. Next, apply an acid-based solution to acidify your hair, such as 5% white vinegar (acetic acid) or 5% lemon juice (citric acid) mixed with 95% water. Allow this solution to do its thing for 3 to 5 minutes, then rinse your hair out well.
This step will produce carbon dioxide gas, which helps remove the chemicals that cause that nasty smell in your hair.
3. Lastly, wash your hair with your usual shampoo.
