    Superdupergood

I can't understand why this product gets such a low rating from many. I have long, curly hair that I've dyed brown at home for many years (I'm naturally dark blonde). After many at-home dye jobs, my hair has finally become dark, almost black. I tried the bleach yesterday to lighten my hair, I didn't expect to get my natural hair color back in one go, after surely a thousand dark dye jobs over the years. The product smelled strong, but all bleaches, hair dyes, and lighteners do. I was afraid my hair would turn orange since there were a lot of red pigments in it. But I think I got a super nice brown/light brown shade. Much better than expected! My hair also smells really good, like after the hairdresser. My hair is very porous/dry, and I was a bit afraid it would break. But you can tell that the product is gentle on the hair. I much prefer to use a gentle product several times, rather than something super strong that makes the hair break. I think many have way too high expectations, thinking that the bleach should remove all old color in one go. It's not that simple, especially if you've dyed your hair many times. It's a process to go from dyed hair to natural hair color. As I said, I'm very pleased that my hair became many shades lighter. I'm thinking of doing another treatment in a week. (My hair was black from the start, so there was a significant difference! One more treatment and it will be 👌👌).

    Not what I expected…

So I had a whim to get rid of my red hair and try to go back to a more “natural” hair color, i.e., back to my Scandinavian original color. I know it wouldn’t go back after one time, but I thought all the red would wash out, and then I could put a toner on afterward. But no. It feels a bit pointless to have held on for so long with the stench, plastic wrap, and heat (three things I have such a hard time with) for a nonexistent result. I do NOT recommend this product. (And no, I didn’t buy the product through Lyko but at Ica, but it’s exactly the same product)

Hey Michelle 🤗 Just like Therese says, red tones can stick like glue, and a second round with colorless may be needed. I still think you got a very nice result from one round 🤍 Remember to wait about a week before you put a toner in your hair to avoid risking any chemical reaction. So you get the color you want 🙏

    Completely worthless

For some reason, I keep convincing myself that the problem is me and not the bleach, but I have given this product way too many chances now. First of all, it absolutely stinks (I understand it’s not supposed to smell like flowers, but the scent is almost unbearable.) Secondly, it dries out my hair like crazy, my hair was dry before but now it’s drier than the Sahara Desert. I had to drown it in conditioner to avoid looking like a troll dragged through several thorn bushes. Thirdly, it really doesn’t do what it’s supposed to, I don’t know if it’s just not for my hair type, but it really doesn’t remove any color at all, EVEN THOUGH I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER! I really do not recommend this product, there are surely better alternatives.

    Am totally blown away!

I accidentally used a box dye called light brown but it turned almost black the day before yesterday. It didn’t turn out at all as I had thought and I panicked a bit. I checked TikTok and found colourless bleaching and gave it a try today despite mixed reviews. But wow, I’m so glad I dared to try. It turned out better than I could ever dream of! From almost black box dye to this in just one bleaching. I followed the instructions carefully and warmed the hair during the entire processing time with a hairdryer about every 15 minutes. Can really recommend!

    Positively surprised!

I was so unsure about this product because of all the mixed reviews. But GOD! I was sooooo satisfied. Really tired of the red and wanted to go back to blonde. I do have red undertones in my hair, so my hair becomes a warm, strawberry/honey tone. Perfect now for the summer when it will be bleached more and become even lighter 😍 (Both pictures are taken by a window in daylight)

A top product with the right conditions

I used this to remove years of black permanent box dye. I was incredibly positively surprised. Yes, it will dry out the hair and it smells a bit strange. But it really beats bleaching with bleach both in less damage to the hair and a more even result. You also need to have quite realistic expectations, getting color out is enormously difficult so you can't expect to go from black to blonde. It is meant to be used on colored hair, so it does not lift your natural color. I don't think you should use this if you've already tried to get the color out with bleach, use this instead before you bleach. I went from jet black to medium/dark brown with one color removal and my natural hair color is Scandinavian blond/reddish.

    My own color

Does this also lighten hair that hasn't been dyed? I'm growing out my black hair color and I already have a lot of my own brown color that hasn't been treated at all. Will that lighten too from this?

Hi Johru! 👋🏼😊 This color remover only removes "artificial" color pigments, so beautiful, natural brown roots do not change at all – they keep their own shade and do not lighten ✨ The result is that colored hair is cleansed, while uncolored hair retains its shine and well-being just as it is 🥰 Have a nice day ☀️

    Works very well

I was wondering if I should try it since there were such uneven reviews. But I am so glad I tried it, I wanted to get rid of a lot of old color and lighten my hair a bit. I followed the instructions and the result was beyond expectations. I wasn't bothered at all by the smell that some mention.

    Works well

It worked well. Now I know the secret behind a successful bleaching. Before, I hadn't seen any results at all. This time I did a few things differently. 1. I haven't dyed my hair in two months. 2. I had the hairdryer on the hottest setting and warmed the hair (the towel) every 10 minutes. I took plastic and wrapped it around my head, warmed the hair with the hairdryer very hot before application. Then plastic on and a towel. 3. I used deep cleansing shampoo two times in the days before bleaching. The result from black to this horrible copper color😂🥹 should let the hair rest and do another round in a few days and hope that the little hair I have doesn't fall out.😂 I believe that heat is the secret… as it says in the description. And the smell isn't terrible, I've experienced much worse smells where it stank of rotten eggs for several days throughout the whole apartment and the hair.

TIPS & TRICKS:

This product works by releasing the molecules of the colored hair, and occasionally, if the hair isn't rinsed out thoroughly, remnants of the old hair dye might stick around and cause a smell.
That's why it's crucial to rinse your hair properly for 5 minutes if it's short and 10 minutes if it's long and thick, as recommended in the instructions.

Caught with lingering odors? Don't worry, we've got you covered with some handy tricks.
To banish any persistent smells from your hair, try the following concoction:

1. Combine 10% water-soluble baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) with 90% water and leave it in your hair for 5-10 minutes.

2. Next, apply an acid-based solution to acidify your hair, such as 5% white vinegar (acetic acid) or 5% lemon juice (citric acid) mixed with 95% water. Allow this solution to do its thing for 3 to 5 minutes, then rinse your hair out well.
This step will produce carbon dioxide gas, which helps remove the chemicals that cause that nasty smell in your hair.

3. Lastly, wash your hair with your usual shampoo.
