a good find for sensitive or dry skin
I have been using this cleanser during 2 weeks everyday. My skin is combination skin, so its not exactly a product i would purchase to remove access oils and dirt for my skin, but as a Lyko Influtester and Creator i review the properties of product as a whole, not just for me personally. Pluses: 1. No fragrance that can be crucial for hyper sensitive skin 2. Does not dry your skin ( you dont have this typical feeling of a layer on your skin after washing it off) 3. Solid pharmacy product that you can get, that can be suitable for any age. 4. Good volume of a product Minuses: 1. As i mentioned before this product is not enough for someone with combi or oily skin. (it doesnt claim to be so i dont remove any stars from it) 2. The texture wasn’t for me because i am used to foamy cleanser when i can see the foam is helping to get into the pores and clean them. Not for combination skin🫠
As #lykoinflutester I have tested #cerave's hydrating cleanser. I want to give a brutally honest feedback, even though I love Cerave and use Cerave daily❤️ A little about me Age: 26 Skin type: Combination 🚩The product is suitable for: Normal to dry skin type Let me just start by saying that Cerave is one of my top 10 skincare favorites. Regardless of the brand, I think it's important to buy the right product for the right skin type, I'm always aware of that. You can immediately tell when a product doesn't suit your own skin type, and as usual, I stop using it right away. 💡 Normally I use - Cerave foaming cleanser for normal to combination/oily skin, both in the morning and at night. It really does wonders!! So I was a bit skeptical when I took 2-3 pumps of Cerave hydrating cleanser, because it feels like a watered-down cream - and I just knew it wouldn't help with my combination skin 😄 It made the situation worse, in other words. I simply had to use the cerave foaming cleanser and wash off the hydrating cleanser - it probably suits those with dry skin much better! Hydrating Cleansing
This cleanser is not a favorite. I have a normal/oily skin type and it is more suited for a dry skin type. It doesn't lather and feels more like a lotion than a cleanser. This makes me not feel completely clean after washing with this. However, I always double cleanse my face with an oil-based cleanser as step 1, so you get absolutely clean from this, but the feeling without lather is not something I like. I have used cerave foaming cleanser for many years and love it! But unfortunately, I didn't like this hydrating variant. Really hydrating!
🤍 This is one of the most popular cleansers out there, and for a good reason. The price is very reasonable, and you get a generous amount of product for what you pay. 🤍 A huge plus for me is that it’s fragrance-free and hypoallergenic. It’s actually not that easy to find a good cleanser without unnecessary ingredients like perfume, which can be irritating for the skin. 🤍 The texture is non-foaming and more like a slimy lotion, which at first can make it feel like it’s not really doing its job. But don’t let that fool you, your skin is left clean, soft, and very well hydrated after use. 🤍 My skin is normal with an oily T-zone, and while it works well for me, I do think this cleanser suits dry and normal skin types best, especially during winter when the skin needs extra hydration. 🤍 If you don’t mind that it doesn’t foam, you really can’t go wrong with this one! #lykoinflutester #cerave20 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Very dry skin? This one is for you 💦
I have been so lucky to receive CeraVe's Hydrating Cleanser which #LYKOINFLUTESTER 💚 I am 35 years old, have normal to dry skin, which can be a bit sensitive at times - especially if products contain a lot of fragrance. I have some lines around my eyes, but otherwise nothing noticeable. The bottle is just okay, looks like all other CeraVe products. Doesn't look very exclusive or fancy. But I really like that it has a pump (until it starts to run out 🫨). The consistency of the cleanser is not like other cleansers I have. It's almost a bit milky and oily, and doesn't foam at all. It also doesn't smell like anything, as it is fragrance-free (big plus) 🥰 I always double cleanse my face in the evening. First with either micellar water or oil cleanser and then a regular cleanser. After cleansing with this, my skin doesn't feel stripped, which is nice. But.. it's almost like I feel that my skin isn't cleansed enough since it feels so moisturized after cleansing. Something that is probably fantastic for those with very dry skin! But for me, who only has dry skin at times and not very dry skin, this is probably a bit too moisturizing for me. I probably appreciate that my skin feels super clean and stripped before I start my skincare routine 😅 But I have put it in the shower, so my partner (who has quite dry skin) has been able to use this now, and he really likes it. It is very user-friendly for men + it doesn't look too feminine 😇 All in all, this is a great cleanser for those with sensitive and/or dry skin, but may feel a bit heavy for those with normal to combination skin. #CERAVE1 product in post Very dry skin? Hydrating Cleanser
#cerave Hydrating cleanser is made for and should suit all skin types. As #lykoninflutester I have been testing the cleanser for a few weeks and have both positive and negative experiences with the product. ➕ First, I need to say that I have normal skin and no other “serious” skin issues. When using the cleanser, my skin felt VERY hydrated, almost as if I had used a face cream. I reacted to the product's consistency, creamy, as I have never used a similar cleanser before. ➕ I used the cleanser to remove makeup but also without makeup. The product worked well and removed the makeup surprisingly well. ➖ HOWEVER, my experience with the cleanser is a bit mixed. The first time I used it, I reacted to how it stung a little on my face. The pain was not significant but made me take notice. The second time I used the product, I felt nothing. After that, my face has stung on different occasions. I don’t know what it’s due to and I probably won’t expose myself to it again; better safe than sorry. So just a heads-up if you’re considering buying this, it might sting. Doesn't work for me
As #lykoinflutester I had the opportunity to test this moisturizing cleansing gel from #Cerave, thanks Lyko! I was really excited to try it, but unfortunately it didn't suit my skin. The cleanser is intended for normal to dry skin, while I have very oily skin, especially in the morning. I also have quite large pores, which makes effective cleansing extra important for me. The consistency feels oily/milky, almost like butter. On my skin, it unfortunately didn't give a really clean feeling afterwards, and I found it hard to rinse off. It felt like it rather settled in the pores than cleaned properly. However, it feels very gentle and mild, which is a plus. I absolutely believe it works better for people with dry skin who need extra moisture. My skin did not react negatively to the product, which is positive especially since some experience stinging. I really like the pump packaging, it's convenient and hygienic to use. The fact that the product is also fragrance-free is greatly appreciated. Overall, it's a reasonably priced product. However, this is not something I would personally buy, as my skin is oily and the product is not suited for that skin type. For me, it unfortunately wasn't a perfect match, but I am convinced that it works better for other skin types. My whole face is burning...
Unfortunately, this cleanser was not for me as it starts to burn all over my face. I like the packaging and that it has a pump. I have combination skin and usually am not particularly sensitive to products. The cleanser made me red and burned all over my face, but afterwards my skin still felt hydrated. Moisturizing
Lyko influencer I have now been testing the Hydrating cleanser from #CERAVE for over a month and I am actually positively surprised by how good it is! 😍 (My prejudice was based on the fact that I previously tested CeraVe's Blemish Control Cleanser and my skin reacted negatively to it🥲) ABOUT MY SKIN: I have sensitive skin and have had problems with pimples and rashes around my mouth, and now during the winter DRYNESS! Which this cleanser has really handled in the best way! As a Lyko influtester, I got to test this cleanser, here’s a bit of info about my skin - ✨ Combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry areas around, especially cheeks. ✨ Extra dry in the winter ✨ Somewhat sensitive This face wash is one of my absolute favorites. My all-time favorite!!
I have been battling acne pretty much my whole life, and through many different treatments and acne breakouts, this face wash has been one of the only constant parts of my skincare routine! Out of all the different face washes, this is the only one that has worked for my combination skin without giving me acne. It is super mild and feels really nice on the skin, especially when you have dry or sensitive skin. After washing, my skin feels clean but not tight at all, which I love. It also works super well for removing makeup! It doesn't lather that much, which took a little time to get used to, but my skin really feels hydrated afterward. Perfect for morning and night without irritating. I also like that you can use it both on your face and body, feels convenient and affordable. It's not a "flashy" cleanser, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to and works great in everyday life.
