Can you get a picture of what this looks like today? Is it this one in my picture? Why would you say that you specifically need "Thermal" spray as protection according to stylists? Is there a certain ingredient that these have that is "best", or does the spray really need to have "Thermal" in the product name to have that property? Hmm, I tried to upload pictures. But it is a pink spray bottle that says "11 thermal spray" on it with white text on a black background.

Hey there! 👋 A thermal spray is simply a heat-protectant spray. Stylists recommend it for several reasons: It contains ingredients that form a thin protective film around the hair strand, protects against high heat from blow dryers, flat irons, or curling irons, and reduces the risk of hair breakage and frizz 😊👍 No, the product doesn’t need to be called thermal to provide protection. What matters is the formula, not the name 😊 Key ingredients are silicones, polymers, proteins. I ask the right department to take a look at the picture 👍 Have a GREAT time!

    Successor to Iron Silk?

I used Iron Silk 07 from Redken many years ago when the product came in a red bottle like the picture. I LOVED it with a flat iron because it kept my frizzy hair straight or curled, gave a certain texture, and managed to maintain the shape even in humidity. Is this the "same" product in a new form, or is there another replacement for Iron Silk?

Redken Thermal Spray 11: light hold, keeps the hair soft and flexible. Redken Thermal Spray 22: strong hold, keeps curls or styles in place much longer.

    Gets heavy in hair

This product smells strongly of flowers and gets greasy in the hair. I still have dry hair that unfortunately has undergone quite a bit of bleaching, and I usually can use most things in my hair without it getting weighed down. I’ve also tried spraying it in my hand and then applying it to my hair to avoid getting it on my scalp, but it still ends up heavy and greasy.
