HURRAW!PlantcolorLip Balm №3
Meet your new summer crush, 100% plant-based lip color with ultra-nourishing ingredients. Darker than a tinted lip balm, but not as heavy as a lipstick.
PLANTCOLOR™ pigments come from roots: beets, radishes and purple potatoes. Hurraw has been using anthocyanins and betalains in their lighter, tinted lip balms for many years and now they are highlighting them again in these non-toxic, 100% plant-based lip colours. This lip colour is darker than their other popular tints with thicker stay-put-coverage
100% PLANTCOLOR™ = no iron oxides (metal), carmine (cochineal insect) or FD&C/D&C synthetic dyes and lakes (petroleum).
Bee free, Shea free, Soy free, Palm free. 70% Certified Organic.
Ecocert COSMOS Certified - 100% Natural Origin.
Know that you are literally applying root vegetables to your lips and you will sense their natural taste and smell. Hurraw! has lightly scented them with cherry-orange-vanilla and threw in a smidge of sweetness from organic stevia. The tartness comes from the citric acid used to preserve the pigments and like all their balms these are loaded with organic cacao, coconut, and Montana grown organic safflower oil.

2 hours agoThe color smears outside
Unfortunately, this is how it is with several tinted lip balms - the color slides outside the lip after a while, and it doesn't look good. I got this through Lyko lovables, and I'm glad for that because I think the price is really on the high side. Color no. 3 is a cooler darker berry lilac - doesn't suit me. The big question though: why insist on color in balm? If I want color, I'll buy makeup. Yes, critical 😄 A plus though is that it smells good, like blueberry ice cream! #lykoreview4 views
