Really gives juicy Y2K lips 😍
Okay, I really understand why Juicy Tubes are still so popular after all these years. The shine is absolutely insane and makes the lips look much fuller, glossier, and more hydrated right after application. I also love that the shade Miracle gives a nice pink shimmer that looks very fresh and glowing without being too glittery or too much. The formula feels soft and comfortable on the lips while giving that classic “juicy lips” look that you see everywhere again now. Doesn't look like the picture at all. Looks really cheap, stamped logo that will disappear quickly. Smells like nothing. You do NOT feel the glitter, lasts about an hour before reapplication. Screw cap with graduated “brush/applicator.” The color Miracle has rose gold and gold shimmer in it. Gives absolutely no pink color on the lips. Would not buy again. For me, totally nothing special 😅 I was mainly tempted because it was on sale, and for a Lancôme product, it was quite cheap. Without the sale, I probably wouldn’t have bought it, because there are much better lip glosses at a lower price. The effect is okay, it has nice shimmer particles and looks quite pretty on the lips, but that’s basically it. It doesn’t stand out in any special way, and it fades pretty quickly from the lips. Okay, I bought this mostly for nostalgia 😅 and I still get the hype.
Gives an insanely nice shine – really that “juicy lips” look that makes lips look fuller right away. I use it both alone and on top of lipstick, and it works for everything. But… it’s quite sticky. Like really gloss-sticky 😬 (hair gets stuck immediately when it’s windy haha). However, it lasts longer because of that, so it’s a matter of taste. Disappointed
Really loved Juicy Tubes when I was younger. The texture was wonderful and they smelled sooooo good! Simply luxurious. That's why I was sooooo disappointed when I got this today.. sure, it still shines nicely on the lips but the smell is awful! Hard to explain, but some mix between cleaning detergent and hard soap.. then it starts to tingle on the lips as if there was some plumping effect in it 🤔 No, this is not the same Juicy Tubes I grew up with. However, they’re not quite as fantastic as I remembered. But maybe that’s more because there’s such an incredibly fantastic range of products today compared to back then? Warning...
I have made a complaint about this. But I still want to give a warning to people here, I bought color 04 in the belief that it would be a juicy lip gloss with a lovely scent. But boy was I wrong... As soon as I put it on my lips, I started to feel a stinging sensation, and it was anything but pleasant, it also looked like my lips became more plump. I haven't read anywhere in the description of this product that it would have such an effect. I also bought L'absolu gloss at the same time, and it is plumping according to the description but feels barely there on the lips compared to this gloss. I was a huge fan of these when they came out in the 90s and I can say with 1000% certainty that the formula was something completely different back then, and I really mean for the better. I do not recommend this gloss to anyone unless you want a stinging sensation on your lips, fyyy I just say...
