Very good gel polish
I don't understand why this has such a bad rating. I love it. They have nice colors and last quite a while. There is a "learning curve" but after I watched a video on how to do it, it has gotten much better. I work a lot with my hands and usually regular polish chips the same day or after a day. The color in the pictures I've had for several days, but not a week, and it hasn't chipped! Not worth the money
You need at least 3 coats to get a decent looking nail. And it smells like burned chemicals. What a shame, since the color is lovely. Nice gel polishes. Those who say they are not satisfied, I suspect haven't understood that you need to use a UV lamp with these. And that you need to file the nails a bit and they must be completely free of grease and oil when you apply the polish. Works even better with Gel builder! Difficult to apply
I have tried pretty much all the gel polishes on the market, and this one ranks «lowest» of them all. Very difficult to get it nice, it leaves streaks and the polish is very thin. This shade has a slightly thinner and more transparent formula, which can make it a bit more challenging to get an even application. A little tip is to apply several thin layers instead of one or two thicker ones, and to make sure each layer cures completely before applying the next. It can also help to gently roll the bottle between your hands before use, to distribute the pigments more evenly. Not the beat formula
Very transparent formula, needs many layers (not just two like they claim) Unless you do really decent nail prep, buffing thoroughly especially at the edges of the nails, it will peel fast for a gel polish. However, my biggest issue is that it scratches so easily - no matter how long I cure it it is relatively “soft”, and gets skratches very easily, meaning it only really looks nice and shiny for a few hours after application. This is easily remedied by putting on a thin layer of the polish or top coat, but I believe gel should be a bit more durable. Pretty okay
Bought the color Cassis, which is a perfect dark wine red color that leans a bit towards brown. I wish it was a bit more pigmented, it required three relatively thick coats, and I would have been 100% satisfied with the coverage with a fourth coat. In certain lights, they still look patchy/splotchy due to the coverage/pigmentation. Use:
25. Connect the lamp to a power socket, computer or power bank.
2. Push the cuticles back with the supplied cuticle pusher.
3. Lightly file the entire surface of the nail so that it becomes rough (this can be omitted).
4. Clean natural grease and oil from the nails with Le Mini Macarons Le Clean, Nail Cleanser pads, or Le Mini Macarons Removal wraps.
5. Remove as much polish from the brush as possible. Apply the polish in a very thin layer - almost transparent.
6. Put your finger in the lamp and press the button. It switches itself off after 30 seconds.
7. Apply the second layer, it should be slightly thicker than the first. Alternatively, you can apply 3 very thin layers.
8. Harden the polish in the lamp again.
9. Then you're done!
