    Do not recommend!

Dyed my hair with this because I just wanted a bit more gloss and a slightly darker color. This turned my hair gray with a purple tint. The only positive is that my hair feels fresh, but it really doesn't look good…

Hey Sofie 💫 Thank you so much for your feedback! It's so unfortunate that the result wasn't as expected, and that the hair got a gray/purple tint instead of the desired color. It's good to hear that the hair still feels fresh, but we understand that the visual result didn't satisfy you. It's hard to know how the hair will react to color, and we always recommend consulting a hairdresser before home coloring💗 Have a lovely day ahead💌

    Black-blond

Hi! Would it be possible to go back to quite light blonde after having this in the hair? I am naturally light blonde but have bleached my hair to make it lighter. But I want to try black hair and have heard that this product is good. Would this work to see if it suits me and if not, be able to go back to blonde?

Hi Linnea! 👋🏼😊 Going from black to light blonde again is quite a big process, and it’s important to be aware that it’s not something you can just “wash out” or easily reverse. When you dye your hair black, you build up a lot of pigment in the hair, and when you then lighten it again, warm pigments (orange/red tones) almost always come through during the process. This means you have to expect that it takes time and often requires several steps to get back to a light blonde shade 🤗 So even though it’s definitely possible to go blonde again, it’s not a quick or easy way back, but a process that needs to be done gradually to avoid damaging the hair. Hope this helps you in your decision 🖤

Wrong color? This is not blonde!

I have used Loreal Casting Creme Gloss 810 Pearly Blonde several times and gotten a very good result. I am blonde with some dark and quite a bit of gray. It has always removed the gray and the blonde has always become a bit lighter. Now I don’t know what happened, because this time the whole hair turned brown!!! Don’t understand what happened. I noticed after a few minutes that there were brown spots on the towel, which has never happened before. Was there the wrong color in the box? Don’t know what to do but I am so disappointed and wonder if I can do highlights to make it lighter? I am so disappointed and don’t like it at all. It also shifts a bit to purple.

Thanks for your tips. But since I immediately got brown stains on the towel, which never happens otherwise, I thought maybe it was the wrong color. That it can go so wrong, I don’t dare to dye my hair anymore, which is a shame! Then I was really lucky the previous times.

    Nice cool color

Used this after bleaching my roots. Didn’t want a warm tone anymore. This turned out really nice! But I only left it on for 5 minutes. Any longer than that and it probably would have turned completely gray, as I see several others here mention 🤭

Good but hard to wash out

It’s supposed to be semi-permanent, but I dyed my hair several months ago and the color is still just as strong. I want to get the color out. The glossing treatment was fantastic though!

    Shade

I think it's so hard to see what the color results are. Is 810 the same color - just lighter - as 1010? Or are there some more colors, besides ash, in it? I think it looks kind of pink in some pictures.

    Color 810

The previous version of this was labeled as a lightening shade (like 1010 and 1021). Now it no longer states that. Will it lighten untreated hair?

Hi Cecilie💕 Casting Crème Gloss 810 Satin Blonde from L'Oréal Paris is a semi-permanent color without ammonia, which mainly provides shine and a new shade to your hair. 🌟 Previously, some of these shades were labeled as "lightening", but if this no longer appears on the package, it means that it does not contain enough lightening ingredients to noticeably lighten untreated hair. Casting Crème Gloss cannot lighten your hair, as it does not contain a strong enough oxidizing agent to lift the color. 👩‍🦳 What does this mean for you? If you have naturally dark blonde or light brown hair, the color will give a nice, shiny shade, but will not make your hair lighter. If your hair is already light, it can provide a more even, cooler tone. If you have darker hair, you will probably not see any lightening, but maybe a slight color tone and shine. If you want a lighter effect, you need to use a permanent color or a lightener before applying Casting Crème Gloss. 😊✨ Hope this helps! 💛🌸
