    Bye bye roots

    No. 7 Blonde. I think it did a great job coloring my multiple-times-bleached hair. I had a very noticeable root and it disappeared (I wanted the root color all over my hair). Maybe a bit darker than I thought it would be, but I also had the color in for a longer time. I'm satisfied!

    New formula doesn't cover gray hair

    I have now tried the new formula in different shades and attempted to mix to a desired shade, but unfortunately, I can confirm that it no longer works on gray hair. The color also washes out. The formula gets so thick that it no longer covers a whole head of hair, you can't get all the formula out of the bottle. The shade is also not like it used to be. I have used and been fully satisfied with Loreal Excellence for decades, but now I am forced to switch to a competitor. What a shame.

    Hair color that doesn't disappoint

    I have dyed my roots with shade 8 for a little over half a year now, the ends are quite bright blonde, and my wish is to gradually get a slightly darker blonde hair mane. I have used this shade on the roots and have done a bit of color treatments on top, and it has turned out quite natural. According to the hairdresser, it is very successful, natural. Minus for the strong scent of the product. I don't know if it's stronger than before or if I've become sensitive to smells. There is a lot of criticism in the comments about it leaving a red tint, and I have noticed it myself, but at least for me, it has evened out after a few washes.

    Deterioration No. 8

    Radical deterioration of the product, I have used the brand for 25 years so I know what I'm talking about. The color no longer covers as well as the original formula did. There are also more red pigments in it and it doesn't look as natural. Additionally, it is thicker in consistency and harder to apply. I really hope they understand their mistake and bring it back to how it was before this new formula.

    New formula :(

    The new formula for nr3 is not the same. The hair becomes much redder in tone than the previous formula and the color washes out much faster and doesn't cover as well.
