It has an oily base, but I don't think it looks oily once applied. I don't think it holds up well throughout the day, it cracks a bit and settles like a film on the skin. I really like the color tone! It's natural and neither too warm nor too cool. The bottle is catastrophic, there's so much product left when the pump can't get any more out.
