Disappointment
Previously a go-to product, but unfortunately this product has now disappointed. The scent was strange and strong, I don't remember ever paying attention to this before. The texture was dry, and after application, my skin looked and felt dry. I tried applying it both with my fingers and with a sponge, but I didn't notice any difference in the result. The shade was also the same as in previous times I've used it, but now it looked weird on my face and not natural at all. However, Lumene has been a trusted brand, and I will definitely continue to use other products. The ingredient list for the product is good and clear. ✨ Lumene CC Cream – my favorite when I want a natural base ✨
Lumene CC Color Correcting Cream SPF20 is truly a base product that I think is perfect when I don’t want to feel like I have a lot of makeup on my skin. 🤍 I love when the base evens out the overall look and makes the skin a bit more uniform, but at the same time still lets the skin look like skin. That’s exactly the feeling I get from this one. What I like most is how easy it is to use. I don’t need to spend a lot of time applying it or worry that the result will be too heavy. I usually apply a thin layer and then build up a bit where I want more coverage. That allows me to adjust the result depending on what kind of makeup I want for the day. ✨ I especially like it for everyday use. If I just want a smoother base, add a little concealer, blush, and mascara, and then be done, this one is perfect. I think it gives the face a much fresher and more finished impression without feeling like I’ve put on a lot of products. I also like that it’s buildable. Sometimes I want very little base, and then a thin layer is enough, while other days I want a bit more coverage and can add where needed. I think that’s a big advantage when a base product works both ways instead of just giving one result. Another thing I appreciate is that it contains SPF 20. 🤍 I see that as an extra plus for everyday use, even though I obviously wouldn’t rely on a makeup base as my only sun protection. It still feels nice to have that extra feature in a product I already use. I also think it works very well with the rest of my makeup. A little concealer under the eyes, blush on the cheeks, and some mascara go a long way with this one. If I want, I can also add a bit of powder in certain areas, but I really like when I can keep the base quite simple. It’s exactly that light feeling that makes me want to come back to Lumene CC Cream. Safe bet
My go-to for several years. Applies nicely on the skin, buildable coverage, and my sensitive skin doesn’t react to it. Easy to wash off but still lasts all day without primer.
