    Disappointment

    Previously a go-to product, but unfortunately this product has now disappointed. The scent was strange and strong, I don't remember ever paying attention to this before. The texture was dry, and after application, my skin looked and felt dry. I tried applying it both with my fingers and with a sponge, but I didn't notice any difference in the result. The shade was also the same as in previous times I've used it, but now it looked weird on my face and not natural at all. However, Lumene has been a trusted brand, and I will definitely continue to use other products. The ingredient list for the product is good and clear. This time it was left unused after a few tries, and I don't think I will buy this product again after this experience.

    Should one consider what undertone they have when choosing a shade? I have a warm undertone and usually go for medium beige with other brands of cc cream and foundation.

    I have been using the Lumene CC Cream for a long time now, and this is honestly a product I always come back to. It’s a base that just works, whether I want an everyday look or a more no makeup-makeup look. The consistency is light and comfortable, almost like a moisturizer, but it still provides impressive evenness. It melts right into the skin without settling into lines or dry patches, and the result is natural, fresh skin with a nice glow. Redness and unevenness are toned down, but the skin still looks like skin, not makeup. I especially love that it feels so light on the skin. No sticky feeling, no heavy mask, just comfort all day. It also holds up surprisingly well, even on long days. For me, this is a holy grail in my makeup bag, and I totally understand why this CC cream is a bestseller.
