MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot Painterly – keeps eyeshadow in place all day
I have tested this product for a few weeks, and it has quickly become a staple in my makeup routine. The texture is creamy and easy to apply over the eyelids, where it evens out the skin tone and creates a smooth base. It feels light on the skin and helps eyeshadows both adhere better and last longer. After a few weeks of use, I noticed that my eye makeup stayed looking nice significantly longer without creasing or losing intensity throughout the day. The biggest advantage is undoubtedly the longevity – it works excellently as an eyeshadow primer and gives a more even result. A minor downside is that the formula can feel a bit dry if left open too long or if you have very dry eyelids. Best basic eyeshadow
I use this every day as a so-called basic eyeshadow, really effective neutral light/light beige color. It's easy to add other colors or darken the look for the evening. You don't even need a brush, I just take it with my finger and apply it to the eyelid, it spreads wonderfully and is really long-lasting! Loosens
I bought the brown Fabst to create a thin line along/above the upper lash line. (Eyeliner is too strong for me). It’s easy to achieve a smooth, fine, and thin line with a small brush, but unfortunately, it doesn’t hold well at all despite proper prep. It doesn’t even stay put if I dab a little brown eyeshadow on top! I also bought the beige shade Painterly to use as a skin-toned primer since many have recommended it. I have a light neutral skin tone, and this color leans towards a slightly darker beige-rose and was too dark for me.
