Not the same color
Bought new in a store and the color is absolutely not the same, the formula is not either. It crumbles when the brush hits the product. So I recommend trying in stores before buying.1 product in post Not the same color2090 views- Customer service at Lyko3 monthsHey Julie 💌 Thank you for sharing your experience 💬 So sorry to hear that the product didn't meet your expectations. Colors have changed and packaging size is smaller
In the picture, the old and new NW20, the new supposedly corresponds to the old N4. Clearly a cash grab from MAC, changing colors but using the same codes so that every returning customer buys a 50 euro powder in the wrong color, and it can't be returned, so you have to buy a new 50 euro powder in a different shade. Scam. Also, the packaging size is smaller but the price has gone up. If I lived closer to the cities, I would go test and completely switch brands after such a scam. But since the nearest store selling makeup is 340 km away, I have no choice but to order the new shade they recommend and hope I don't waste another 50 euros...1 product in post Colors have changed and packaging size is smaller265 views- Customer service at Lyko2 daysHi Taija, thank you for your review! I understand your frustration regarding the situation ❤️ The product in question has been updated some time ago, and the shades are a bit different than before! There is a note about the update in the product images, but I will also send a request to the relevant department on our website to mention the update in the product description as well! 🫶🏼

Re-test your shade!
Do not order the same shade when buying the new formulated product. Because of the new formula and removal of talc in the product, you will not get the same shade as you did in the old formula. Before buying this product, re-test your shade. My shade was NC42, with the uptated formula my new shade is NC40. My low rating is bwcause of the increase in cost. It’s more expensive now.1 product in post Re-test your shade!325 viewsto leave a comment - 2 monthsRating: 4 out of 5
New Formula, New Shade Range
The new formula no longer includes the ingredient of talc. I appreciate this change. I recommend visiting the USA online shop for MAC Cosmetics before purchasing because I now need a different shade in this product. I was using NW20 before but now need N4. Maybe these images will help others before making this mistake.1 product in post New Formula, New Shade Range767 viewsto leave a comment - 2 monthsRating: 1 out of 5verified customer
Wrong shade
Not the same shade as previous NC40, yellower tone. Doesn't match my skin color. Why change the tone, very confusing??1 product in post Wrong shade197 views- Customer service at Lyko2 monthsHey Maria 🌸 Ohhh, it’s always so confusing when they update and change shades, I agree. I see that someone has shared a shade chart above, maybe you can take a look and see what you had before and what you should aim for now. Reach out to us at customer service otherwise we’ll try to help you find the right shade. All the best 🌞

My favorite
I've been using it for several years and it works so well. Also the best powder foundation I've found in my shade.1 product in post My favorite384 viewsto leave a comment - 3 months
Mac studio fix powder
Hi. Is the mac studio fix powder 15g discontinued? I see that there is a mac studio fix 12g, is it the same as the one in 15g? Is the color nc 40 the same as the one in 15g? Regards, Rita1 product in post Mac studio fix powder413 views- Customer service at Lyko3 monthsHey Rita 💌 MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation has recently received an updated packaging, and now comes in 12 g instead of 15 g. According to MAC, the formula and shades should be the same, so NC40 in the new version should correspond to the one you know from before. That said, there can sometimes be small differences when reformulating or updating production – even if the color name and base are the same. Wishing you a great day ahead 🌺
