Disappointment
Previously a go-to product, but unfortunately this product has now disappointed. The scent was strange and strong, I don't remember ever paying attention to this before. The texture was dry, and after application, my skin looked and felt dry. I tried applying it both with my fingers and with a sponge, but I didn't notice any difference in the result. The shade was also the same as in previous times I've used it, but now it looked weird on my face and not natural at all. However, Lumene has been a trusted brand, and I will definitely continue to use other products. The ingredient list for the product is good and clear. My all time favorite!!!
If I could choose only one makeup product to use for the rest of my life, I would choose this one. It is simply the best. I got it as a sample once about 10-15 years ago, and since then I've been hooked. There is nothing to compare it to. It is nourishing, it applies nicely and naturally, and it brightens up my natural skin tone, which I think has a bit of olive in it, even though I am so pale. It is only lightly covering but because it gives my natural skin tone such a nice complement, it feels much more covering than it actually is. No, but seriously. This is my number one. Pretty, but doesn't work well
I can't get it to stay on throughout the day. I use primer, then this foundation, then powder, and finally setting spray… but the base kind of disappears after just a couple of hours. Works well on my surface-dry acne skin. Stays relatively well in place throughout the day and covers enough acne scars and dark spots on my skin. It also doesn't clog the skin, so no impurities arise from this. Not for very dry skin
Super pretty but it flakes if you have very dry skin. For me, it works in the summer but not in the winter. When the skin gets drier, some base products can unfortunately have a harder time applying evenly. If it flakes in winter, it can sometimes help to apply a richer moisture layer before application, for example, a cream with a few drops of facial oil, and let it sink in properly into the skin. A moisturizing primer can also make a big difference. You can also try applying your CC cream in thin layers with a lightly damp sponge instead of a brush, which often gives a more hydrated and even result.
