Much darker than the product picture
As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I had the opportunity to test three nice products from #MAYBELLINE. The last product to be reviewed is this 4-in-1 product that can be used as a primer, concealer, highlighter, and bb-cream. I have tested some products from Maybelline before, and I generally think it is a nice brand with affordable products. I have previously tried this multifunctional product, but it never became a favorite, and even this time I unfortunately had the same experience. I have mainly used this as a bb-cream/foundation. It is easy to apply on the skin with the sponge, but I find it very unhygienic to have a sponge, and it absorbs a lot of product. It takes a lot of product to get it through the sponge, and then it is hard to know how much comes out since you can't see it in the same way as in other products that don't have a sponge that absorbs it. What I did with my previous packaging was to remove the sponge to avoid wasting so much product. The product sinks in very well into the skin and lays nicely while giving a very nice glow. When you use this product, you don't need to use any highlighter as you get enough and a little extra glow from this product. And for me, who loves glow, this is perfect, it's just a shame that there are other factors that make this not a favorite. What I experience is that sometimes only glitter comes out, meaning no foundation comes out. The times this has happened, I have just had to throw it away and redo it. I assume something gets weird in the packaging since it can't be shaken directly because it is so packed in the product. If the product had been in a different packaging with, for example, a pump or pipette, I would definitely buy this again. But unfortunately, I think it is a waste of product and an unhygienic applicator, so unfortunately, it will not be a purchase again. Overall rating will be 4/5 as it is a very nice product when it is well on the skin. ⭐️

Wrong Production?
I have been so lucky to test a couple of products from #maybelline as a #lykoinflutester, and this is one of them😃 My first impression of this product was quite poor. The first thing that happened was that only something shiny with glitter came out of the container. No color. I tried shaking the bottle for a while, but that didn’t help much. Eventually, a bit of color came out, but it separates, and you have to mix the product yourself. Very impractical. When I tried the product itself, I quickly noticed that this was the wrong color for me, even though Light is usually right in other cases. So if you buy this product, I recommend choosing something lighter than you would normally choose. It gives a bit of glow, but unfortunately, I don’t think it settled nicely on my skin. I don’t think this product was good enough for me to continue using it. I really hope this was a wrong production and that it’s not usually like this... ✅ Nice packaging ✅ Good price ✅ Gives glow ❌ Separates ❌ Darker in reality than in pictures ❌ Doesn’t settle nicely on my skin

It applies super nicely on the skin and gives a natural finish with a lot of Glow that I love. I sometimes take off the sponge because I thought it soaked up unnecessarily much product. I can highly recommend this 😍😍😍 #LYKOMISSION

Weird product
Weird consistency, felt more like water with like liiiiiiiiittle color, had it in 02 medium and it gave no results, neither glow, color, nor anything else. Don’t know if my product was bad or if it’s just how it is, but if it is like that, I would never recommend it and will never buy it again. Could have been better....
In collaboration with Smartson, I got to test Instant Perfector 4-In-1 Glow Makeup for free. A handy and convenient bottle that you can easily apply on the go and that you don't have to worry about leaking in your bag. Takes up minimal space, which is great. At first glance, I thought that Instant Perfector 4-In-1 Glow Makeup 04 Deep (which is the shade I used) would be too dark for my skin tone, which it was if I were to use it as a covering base. But as a highlighter, it worked well. As the description says, it adapts to the skin, which is 100% true, it lays nicely on the skin. Unfortunately, I felt it was a bit too watery in consistency. I found it a bit sticky after a day's use. This product is suitable for a night out in the city as it gives an incredibly nice glow, but not something I would use on a daily basis. The applicator sponge is not as handy as I thought it would be. I feel like too much product gets stuck in the sponge after one use, and it becomes hard to clean. I tried to take off the sponge before use and place the product on the skin and then use the applicator sponge to apply the product, it worked well but gets a bit tricky in the long run.

Glowy filter with low coverage
In collaboration with Smartson. I have used this base product both as a primer before foundation and as a standalone base. I prefer it alone. Under another foundation, it can get a bit cakey around the nose and on the cheeks. Alone, it is a fantastic filter with incredibly much glow. Very little coverage, but it fits perfectly for summer, in my opinion. I set the product with a thin layer of powder, a little concealer, and then it lasts most of the day. My skin but better, you could say. A little note about the shades. I have tested the shade 00 Fair Light, which is the slightly warmer light shade. It absolutely would not have worked during the winter months when I am at my palest. Since the product is so thin, you can get away with a shade that doesn't quite match, but if I were paler than when I tested it, it would look strange. Overall, it is a nice product if you find a shade for you. It creates a filter that I like, but I will probably save it for spring.

Somewhat disappointed
I got to try the product for free via Smartson. I usually have the color medium, but this was unfortunately way too dark for me, more towards bronzer. The product is unfortunately very loose in consistency and not nearly as covering as I expected. I found it almost a bit watery with shimmer in it. It gives a nice glow but I would say it’s better under a foundation and not as a replacement for this. A minus for the applicator, which I think is a bit impractical, and a lot of product unfortunately gets wasted in it, which makes a lot feel like it goes to waste. Probably won’t buy again.
