Oh my God, this is magical! I love that it can be built up and adjusted in strength. It really sits like a rock even after time has passed and I've had both food and drink. Speaking of dry lips, you can apply a good amount of some moisturizing cream after the lips have dried properly, it doesn't affect the color and makes them feel softer. Disappointing...
I saw this on TikTok and wanted to test it myself. I scrubbed my lips and applied Vaseline for about an hour before testing for the best possible result. I applied this in three quite uneven layers (took a long time to get it as even as possible, it was not easy to say the least) before I waited about a minute and wiped it off. The result was mildly disappointing. It settled in places I didn't know were dry, and it didn't look good at all... Luckily, it only lasted a few hours before it was completely gone. I have since used it as a lipliner, which it works very well as! Nice color, and love that it lasts all day!! Bought it for both myself and my friend. She loves it. Unfortunately, I started reacting to it after a few uses. Like some kind of allergic reaction on the lips, so I had to stop using it. Tried it occasionally, but the skin didn’t like it. Switched to Nyx lip stain pens, which I don’t react to. Bought it for the first time now in the color lovely and I probably will never stop buying it over and over again. LOVE. Such a beautiful color. I’m not sure how long it lasts but it still stays on for quite a while. Lips get a bit dry but I usually put some lip gloss over it so it’s not a big deal. The longer you wear it on your lips, the darker the color gets but even in the darkest shade it’s incredibly beautiful and can be used for everyday wear. Really love this lip tint! 😍 The color is so pretty and natural, and the staying power is really good. It might take a bit of technique to get the perfect result, but once you find your way to apply it, it becomes absolutely fantastic. I've probably bought this product 5 times – that says it all! 💕 My best tip is to apply the product over the entire lips and then take a cotton swab with a little water to gently remove the color closest to the mouth. Sick difference!
I've been using Wonderskin for quite a while now, but finally got to try the viral Whimsical color!❤️ In the video, I apply the product directly on dry lips, but for best results, it's recommended to scrub the lips and add moisture well before application❤️ It can be a bit tricky to get completely even lines during application, and you need a couple of layers to cover the entire lips. The product dries quickly, and I often do other things in my makeup routine while waiting. Removes the color after about 5 minutes, and I always add a bit of moisture with a lip balm. I loooove the result, think the color turns out sooo pretty! The color isn't very natural, so I prefer to use it when I do my makeup❤️ Also think the color lasts long, several hours at work, and after water and drinks! After a couple of hours, you'll see the product fades a bit unevenly. I'm still very satisfied, perfect product for days when you don't have the chance to fix your lip combo! The application is quite problematic: the product applies unevenly and tends to dry quickly. Because of this, you can't calmly add more or fix it – when trying to even it out, the layer already applied rubs off, leaving a bare spot. The durability is okay, but nothing spectacular. It lasts for a few hours, but after washing your face, there's no trace left, so it's more of a "going out" stain rather than for the whole day. In summary: nice color and decent durability, but the application requires patience and skill. The shade was lovely, but it left a slightly patchy finish. How to use:
Start with clean, dry lips. If needed, exfoliate your lips first with WONDER BLADING 3-in-1 Lip Scrub to remove any dry patches.
Step 1: Apply WONDER BLADING Lip Mask to your lips. Apply 2-3 layers to completely cover your lips, ensuring no natural skin is visible. (The bluish-purple mask is not the final shade.) For a soft color, let the mask sit on your lips for at least 10-15 seconds. For a more intense shade, leave the color on for 30-45 seconds with each application.
Step 2: After waiting a few seconds, start from each corner of your mouth. At this stage, it's essential not to stretch your lips as the mask will crack and won't come off uniformly. Use a damp cloth to remove the lip mask or any remaining pieces.
Protip!
* You can intensify the color by repeating the application process. Before you reapply, ensure your lips are completely dry.
* If you want a glossy finish on your lips, add Wonder Blading lip gloss, or if desired, outline your lips or use any other lip product you prefer. WONDER BLADING does not fade or smudge when layered with other lip products.
* Remove WONDER BLADING from your lips with an oil-based facial cleanser or an oil-based makeup remover designed for waterproof cosmetics.
* Avoid stretching your lips during the process, as the mask may crack, making removal more challenging.
