I think the color wasn't the best since it all came off pretty quickly and you had to have several layers for the color to cover, which felt like it became a bit too thick. Probably that's why the color came off unusually quickly on me. Otherwise, it was very easy to apply, and you didn't have to worry about getting too much color on the edges of the nails. The gel polish is quick-drying, so I will use the top coat frequently. Strong Nail Polish
I think these are one of the better nail polishes on the market! Holds well with topcoat compared to others. There is some wear, but you have to expect that. Essie's gel couture holds super well. Mine lasts over 2 weeks, and only one nail has gotten a little worn. I use some of their "regular" base coat followed by 2 layers of gel couture color and 1 layer of gel couture top coat. After about 1 week, I add an extra layer of top coat.
