    Eyelash serums

With blonde lashes that barely show without mascara, long thick lashes have always been a dream. Today there are tons of serums and thousands of mascaras that all promise you that to varying degrees.😍 So today I thought I’d check out which serums I have. I haven’t had time to test them all yet, so please comment on which one is your favorite and why.🙏 A few tips in this jungle are never wrong.🤯 I have now been using xlash serum for a few months. The result? It stings like crazy when you miss a bit. You don’t want that in your eyes. Otherwise, I haven’t seen any major difference. Have I used it 100% according to the instructions of two times daily? In the beginning no, the last few weeks yes. No difference as far as I can see. During this period, I have also managed to use 4 different mascaras, so sometimes I’ve thought. Wow, they are long. Only to think with the next mascara, where did they go?🤔 So will I buy it again? Probably not. Feels like too much hype with too little effect. But I’ll continue to use it for a while longer, I have a hard time throwing it away and it will probably run out someday? So on the positive side - economical. Or is that the flaw? It says you don’t need to double apply but maybe I should test?🤨 Anyway, which should we try after this? I gave my daughter a lumene but haven’t heard anything about it. The price was so good that I bought two at once. I think she has seen more results though. Not necessarily thanks to the serum. She had abused her lashes with a lash curler, so only the regrowth makes a big difference. I think it’s easier to "see an effect" then. I myself have never learned to handle a lash curler. Embarrassing, right?🤭 I think one of the mascaras will be next. Probably suits me better in my mature age of 41. I think the application will be easier than with a brush? I do use mascara practically daily anyway. But should you then use the serum even before you go to bed or just during the day? With or without other mascara on?🙄 I thought you all here have the answers. 🥰

Lenoites 😍 incredibly good and really effective! It gets extra points from me because it doesn't contain prostaglandin analogs, a substance that actively prolongs the growth phase of eyelashes BUT can be really harmful to the eyes and cause everything from irritation to discoloration, etc. It is a substance that lowers the pressure in the eye and was primarily developed to treat glaucoma. Lenoites is free from that and still very effective, but feels safer to use.

    Sticky

This product is very effective. Your toner stays on the surface and definitely reduces how much you need by more than 30%, I would rather say 50%. The negative is that it's hard with the amount as it easily gets sticky, I think. I've also gotten too little on, and I don't think you can flip it and use the other side as they have different functions and it's clearly noticeable. At least my toner works better on a different pad. I've also tested it with makeup remover, and it doesn't work at all then. Looked like a zebra on my face. So use it only for what it's intended for. I also didn't like the size of it, I have a fitting jar at home, but that was clearly round.. So for me, the negatives outweighed, so I will pass on this going forward. But if you want to save money on less toner, I don't think the price of this product is what you need to worry about the most. #lykoreview

    Advent Calendars

Most of this year's harvest of beauty calendars. If teenagers get to choose for themselves, it's calendars with makeup that count. The oldest daughter chose makeup stores in less than 5 minutes. It has also received good reviews from Elle. When she chose, not all calendars were out, but it has become such that you have to start on time and can't wait. For many, they sell out quickly. I don't think she will regret it, because makeup-wise it is definitely one of the best calendars, if not the best. The other children did not get to choose. The next oldest gets L'Oréal. Includes a bit of hair care besides makeup. I believe that a 15-year-old does not only need makeup. The next girl probably also just wants makeup but is in my world too young. Where does the line actually go? I chose a calendar with mostly shower gels and similar but modified it since it had some products I considered for adults only, such as anti-wrinkle cream. Instead, I added a bunch of small perfume bottles (2-5ml) and included, among other things, Sol de Janeiro (30ml) and some lip gloss in it. I had juicy tubes as favorites when I was a young girl. But now I think they are a bit sticky. If I had waited longer, I would probably have chosen the Body Shop's calendar. I have bought it in previous years for the older girls when I thought they were too young for makeup in large amounts. I would probably have continued to need to modify it, but the base I think is much better. The son was, however, the biggest problem. He loves perfume and hair care, but there is a lack of calendars for young boys who are not gender mature. He doesn't need any products for any beard or certain other products. So Lykos fell directly. In the end, there was no really good one. If you have any tips for the coming years, I would gratefully accept suggestions. I chose the one I found to be the least bad for him. But I might need to modify it as well and give part to the man instead. For the coming years, I would like to see more products for men and also for younger boys. There is incredibly much for girls of all ages but not for boys. In our modern metrosexual world, there should be more calendars for young boys. What do you think? Which calendar is your favorite? The last ones that are not mentioned are for me. I like mixed calendars and these appealed to me the most based on content and price. Maybe because I have already bought so many lovables? Of the 17 I see in the search, I have bought 10. It's starting to get full on the shelves everywhere..

    What a frenzy

I got in line, a bit late, my husband came home and interrupted just before. So according to Lyko at 09:00:11. There were almost 2600 people ahead of me according to the queue system. I had to wait a bit, several kids learn patience, held me back and then came in. Clicked buy, chose delivery method and paid. No problems at all. I also bought an extra offer which I am a bit skeptical about, but I will probably find the value in that too. However, this is the best box in a long time. We all know that. That's why it sold out immediately. I know I will be so satisfied with it as I easily found the money again already before in products that I or the kids wanted. The rest is bonus, bonus and more bonus.

    Fraud Attempt

Lyko has already been out warning about this, but I want to give you all an example of how it can look. I would have been overjoyed if I had actually won a fantastic advent calendar, but unfortunately, it's just someone trying to trick you, and I hope that you who read such things also realize it right away. So be aware and don't fall for it. Lyko (or any other serious company for that matter) would never 1) write a link in a message that everyone can read so that someone else would get your gift. 2) ask you to pay to receive a gift from them. Then you would just have it sent to you. Have a nice evening #fakegift

    Nice brands but..

The first feeling when I open the very nice box that will definitely be reused as a gift box for Christmas, doesn't feel luxurious. The first thing I see is the Elisabeth Arden product that looks like a free sample. A fantastically nice brand, but the feeling is free sample.. And then I see the incredibly small packages with filorga and Verso as well as another "free sample" from Anastasia. The whole feeling is that this is the lightest and smallest of all the lovables I've bought, but still the most expensive. Leaves a bit of a dull feeling and doesn't give the same joy as they have before. Unfortunately, the feeling is that the price for this is too high, and I think many share my view since it is still not sold out. But positively? The Versace bottle is incredibly nice. I love when even the miniatures are pretty, and this one will adorn my shelf with the other bottles. Unfortunately, it didn't smell as good as bright crystal in my opinion. But maybe it will grow on me. There's always an occasion for a perfume. I tested the Sweed lipstick right away and so far I like both the feel and the color. I've been looking for something similar, so this could become a product that goes with me in my bag. Exuviance, surely a staple that is always appreciated. Unfortunately, I stopped there, I'm sure I will appreciate more products once I've tested them, but right now I'm unfortunately not in the mood for it. #lykoreview #lovables

The samples you’re talking about are not free samples. They are luxury samples that often come with other products. Some may also be produced only for boxes like lovables. But other than that, I completely agree that there were a bit too many sample sizes. A small consolation is that the Niactil eye cream alone costs over 1000 kr. So you’ve still gotten a good deal for your money♥️🙏🏼

    Tips for chafing?

I've gotten a bit of chafing from my sports bra. I've just started running a little. I was injured for a longer time which made it impossible, but I've now been running for 3 weeks. Although running might be the wrong word, it goes slowly, but I managed to keep it up for 1.5 hours last weekend, and this time it will probably be a long run of about 2 hours. I have a couple of smaller sores on my back that I couldn't take a picture of, but otherwise, it looks about like the picture shows, a red line that often rubs a hole so it bleeds somewhere. Nowadays, I usually try to place a piece of medical tape under the bra band in front 'between' the breasts. But I think there should be other good alternatives? White Vaseline from Aco? Or do you have any other suggestions that reduce friction? Note that even though I'm not that fast, I naturally sweat quite a bit during the session. So the sports bra tends to be very damp.

I think that talc or talc-free baby powder works well!

Still having issues with the new warehouse/system?

I placed an order with 3 products. Today, 2 partial deliveries arrived, each with 1 product. Even though I chose Express handling and paid shipping, the last product hasn't even been processed at Lyko yet. I don't call that Express handling. But what’s worst is that all products come in their own large packaging when at least the two I’ve already received could easily have fit in the same. Is this the smart new packaging system that Rickard bragged about? From what I've seen so far, it's much worse for the environment. Should it really be like this? Also, you all see what happened to the packaging as well. Just so they can single-package everything.

When starting something new, you often plan for a long time and in detail so that everything goes as smooth as possible! But there are often starting difficulties. It may have taken a bit longer to get the system in place than desired, but you can't just blame the new system and say it's bad! Give them a little time, let em cook, and it will be good in the end! ☺️ The fact that your package is flat could also be the delivery vehicle, it doesn't have to be Lyko's new packaging system. So give them a little slack😃🤗

The fastest and easiest morning routine

Saw someone who posted a natural look that involved a large amount of products. My natural look when I don't really feel like it and think it’s good enough if I'm not doing anything special consists only of mascara and lip gloss. Creams and such get the face before bedtime. But why double mascaras? Lancome's Idole is fantastic for separating the lashes, no clumps, so if you have nice long lashes, you’re almost guaranteed to be good just with that. I get "natural lashes" in okay length and color from quite short and especially very pale. The shape of the mascara also makes it so it doesn't roll off the sink and acts as a stopper. The only negative is that it gets a bit too natural with just this mascara. I usually want a bit more volume, and then I tend to choose an additional Lancome mascara. + separation + clump-free + lasts all day and can be built up - no volume, but it’s not a volumizing mascara But now it’s finished, so I’ve switched to xlash mascara that I got in the lyko lovables posh playa. Xlash mascara is a bit more of a minus. It clumps a bit too easily, and after a day of use, the mascara easily comes off in clumps from the lashes. So I would actually recommend this more for use only over a shorter period and not for all-day use. You absolutely cannot build it up with more like you can with Lancome's mascaras, because then it gets clumpy and lumpy. + good color and volume - tends to harden on the lashes, so it comes off in clumps in the afternoon/evening. - tends to get clumpy if you apply several layers The routine ends with a simple swipe of Artdeco lip wounder or another lip gloss. I used to use Lancome's juicy tubes before and saw now that they seemed to be coming back. Maybe that will be the next purchase? Any other favorites that should be tested? #lykoreview #lovables #lancome
