I enjoy painting my nails and have tried quite a few different products. Essie Gel Couture has many pluses: + beautiful and many colors. Specifically, 345 Bubbles Only is a fantastic wine red shade, super classy + brush is wide and covers the nail with 2-3 strokes. Easy to paint with + minimal smell + vegetarian formula + durability! So I am now on day 6 and the color is still intact without chipping + shine like salon nails -Essie presents Gel Couture as a formula that lasts 14 days. I donβt find that to be true BUT compared to other regular nail polishes this is great! When others last 3-4 days max, Essie Gel Couture can surely last a week. I know I will continue with Essieβs Gel Couture colors in combination with their fantastic top coat Gel Couture Nail Polish 00 Top Coat. I have been using Essieβs top coat for over a year now, both with Essieβs colors and in combination with other brands. The color is beautiful and intense, and it has a really nice, glossy finish that gives the nails a well-groomed look. The top coat gives the nails a beautiful, glossy, and shiny surface. It is transparent and therefore does not change the color of the nail polish itself but instead adds a beautiful shine. The brush on both is relatively wide, which makes it easier to cover the nail evenly and quickly. The coverage of the red polish is really fantastic, and actually one coat is enough to achieve a beautiful and opaque color. This is definitely a big plus, as you avoid having to apply multiple layers to get the desired result. The durability of both polishes is only medium, though. I experienced that the polish started to chip a bit relatively quickly at the edges, which detracts a bit from the overall experience. All in all, a really beautiful result with a lovely color, fantastic coverage, and easy application, and a topcoat that gives a beautiful glossy finish. The brush is also very good because it picks up just the right amount of product and makes it easy to apply the polish. I usually apply two coats of nail polish and finish with a top coat for extra shine and durability. As a final step, I use cuticle oil to moisturize the cuticles. β¨ The best part is that the nail polish stays nice for about a whole week, thanks largely to the top coat. Since I work in healthcare and care services, I actually donβt need nail polish that lasts longer than a week. I usually only paint my nails when Iβm off. You can apply one coat if you dream of a very subtle, delicate effect, or 2-3 coats if you want stronger coverage. π€ It paints very well thanks to the nice brush, and the polish dries well. You just have to be careful not to make streaks at the beginning, but with a little practice, itβs no problem later!
