New go-to palette ✨
This has truly become my new go-to palette and I am SO happy I bought it for myself as a graduation gift 👩🏻🎓 That said, it doesn’t get a perfect score, and I’ll say that straight away. For a palette in this price range, I expect all the shadows to perform well, both in relation to each other and on their own. And honestly, I don’t think this one does. As you can see in the swatch picture, for example, the darkest shadow isn’t pigmented at all and needs to be built up several times to get depth. But, having said that, it is still a fantastic palette, the shadows might not be as pigmented and might not give the same intensity throughout the palette. BUT they are incredibly easy to blend out, both on the skin and with each other, to create seamless transitions 🥹👌🏻 The color range is also exactly what I was looking for, neutral towards the cool side! So that part is a full score ✨ The only thing I wished for is, as I said, a dark shadow with pigment. I don’t want to have to apply 5-7 layers to get a more intense look, and so far I haven’t actually managed to get a really dramatic look with the palette. Which makes me a bit annoyed now as I write this, and I considered lowering it to three stars. 😅 But no, it still performs well enough to deserve four stars 🫶🏻 - The user's roll: Lyko Creator.
