Should it be washed out before applying another?
I want to go back to my natural hair color after highlighting my hair for a few years. I bought Cacao back then, but it was too warm and turned red tones. Now I bought Cacao Intense to achieve a cooler result. My question is if I can apply Cacao Intense now, even though Cacao isn't washed out. When you apply such a dark shade to bleached hair, it can become discolored 🙈 I therefore recommend that you wash out the pigments and not apply any new one 🤍 Hope this could be helpful! Such a treatment would work better on slightly darker hair to freshen up a color! If you want to keep a nice platinum blonde tone, I wouldn’t choose something like that temporarily, as it can quickly make the color murky in the long run 🤍 Hope this helps you! Have a nice day ☀️

- Hairdresser at Lyko1 monthHey Lillian! If you put this on bleached hair, the hair can quickly turn purple/blue/green, as this is a bit too dark to be used on bleached hair. This is made to add pigments to already brown hair to freshen up the color you have (it can work on some lighter hair if you’re not too light), but if the jump from light to dark is too big, the hair will become discolored since bleached hair lacks underlying pigments. I recommend using a good cleansing shampoo to remove excess pigment 👋🏼 Have a nice day!

Ingredients
A pigmented, nourishing masque that will quickly freshen up your hair and colour.
Use:
Apply to washed, towel-dried hair. Spread the cream using a comb/your fingers. Let sit for 3-10 min. depending on desired intensity. Rinse and finish with conditioner. Suitable to use as is on medium to dark hair (level 2-7).
For lighter hair, please dilute with White Mix, or effect may be too intense. Bleach on Colour Refresh may cause discolouration. Please consider using gloves.
