    Maria Nila Shaping Heat Spray

    I have been testing Maria Nila's heat protection for about a month now, the first thing I thought of was the scent: The scent is very fresh and not too intense 🌸 I find that my hair often gets a “burnt” smell after using heat on it, but not with this heat protection. 🎉 It provides a light hold, which makes it easier to style and shape the hair. It doesn't weigh the hair down and left no “layer” of product.     I don't really know what this is

    I haven't really figured out what the product is for, as when I use it on dry hair, it almost turns into a mess and it doesn't work as a heat protectant where there would also be hairspray at the same time. So it's not really a heat protectant or hairspray.

    Pretty okay

    According to (my research) it should provide good protection against heat. That's why I bought it. It smells a bit too strong for my liking and has a slightly sticky consistency (especially if you happen to use too much). I probably prefer Maria Nila's other heat protectants more.

    Not for me unfortunately

    It doesn't matter if I use a curling iron or a heat brush/Dyson, the hair becomes so coarse and you can really feel that the products stay in for several days even if you've only taken a little. So unfortunately not for those who want a product that doesn't feel in the hair :/

    Do what it says

    The hair gets a coarseness that isn't so nice and makes the styling look a bit dull at the end of the day, but I think curls etc. hold a bit better when I use it compared to heat protection that isn't shaping.

    Not what I expected.

    I was looking for a dry heat protectant with hold to keep the curls lasting long and got this recommended by a girl in the Lyko store. I think the curls don't hold at all, barely an hour. The scent is also quite strong unfortunately. Really disappointed as it has received good reviews before 😕

    Help

    I have very thick and long hair, so every time I curl my hair, I feel like the curls fall out. It doesn't feel like any hairspray or heat protectant helps... Does anyone know if this can help with this?...

      Hey Anna! 👋🏼 I totally understand, thick and long hair can make the curls fall out faster 😩 One tip is to use a sea salt spray or a mousse on damp hair beforehand, it gives more hold and helps the curls stay in shape longer 🌟 Feel free to finish with a light hairspray for extra hold without weighing the hair down.
