Maria Nila Shaping Heat Spray
I have been testing Maria Nila's heat protection for about a month now, the first thing I thought of was the scent: The scent is very fresh and not too intense 🌸 I find that my hair often gets a “burnt” smell after using heat on it, but not with this heat protection. 🎉 It provides a light hold, which makes it easier to style and shape the hair. It doesn't weigh the hair down and left no “layer” of product. Not what I expected
I was recommended this by my nail girl. I had high expectations but unfortunately it doesn't hold my curls. And a little hairspray between each time you curl your hair, you can for example use a hairspray with good hold but don’t spray so close that it gets stiff, then your curls will hold🫶🏻

So convenient that it’s both a hairspray and a heat protectant in one! Before styling with heat, you spray, style your hair, and suddenly you already have hairspray in your hair!! Maria Nila Shaping Heat Spray is truly a product that I think fits perfectly into my styling routine. 🤍 I like to use heat when I want to shape my hair, but at the same time, I don’t want to feel like I have to choose between styling my hair the way I want and taking care of it. That’s why I like to have a heat-protective styling product close at hand. What I appreciate most is that it feels so easy to use. I usually spray it into my hair before I start blow-drying or using other heat tools and then work it through my hair so the product is distributed. It has almost become a natural step for me before styling. ✨ I also like that a heat protectant doesn’t make the hair heavy or sticky. I still want to be able to get volume and movement in my hair afterward, especially since I have wavy hair. Here, I think Shaping Heat Spray works really well. The hair still feels easy to shape, and I can work with my waves or create a more styled blowout depending on the look I’m going for. It’s exactly the combination of heat protection and styling that I like. For me, it feels like the product becomes more usable than a heat protectant that’s just an extra step. I can use it when I want to shape my hair and at the same time get a bit more control over the result. 🌸 When I blow-dry my hair, I especially like to use it before I start shaping the lengths. I can work with a round brush or just use my hands and then finish with another styling product if I want. The result feels more thought-out, and I find the hair easier to work with. A good heat protectant is hard to be without. Sometimes I've used hairspray as heat protection when I didn't have anything else at home, but I've missed a really good heat protectant that both protects the hair and provides hold. Maria Nila Shaping Heat Spray is phenomenal at giving both heat protection and hold, without the hair feeling wet or becoming flat. Just spray on wet or dry hair before styling, so the curls last longer while the hair is protected during heat styling. Hi! I just bought this because I’ve heard really good things about it and I can only agree. First of all, it smells amazing, who wouldn’t want their hair to smell good? Secondly, it holds curls and styling well in my hair, everyone’s hair is different and absorbs products differently, but on my thick and shiny hair, it holds super well. Thirdly, I think the product sits nicely in the hair. With some other products, I feel like it forms a layer, but not with this one. It becomes a thin and fine layer that keeps the hair shiny and curls lasting for days. Have you, like me, been thinking about buying this?
