I have smooth fine hair and expect that a spray, whether it's a finish or hairspray, should at least make the hair a bit stiff. Overall it has 2/5 in hold. That = nothing.. It also says light styling spray on the bottle, I see. When I spray it in, the hair is just as smooth and just as flat afterwards. Usually use Bed Head, the green one, but Lyko has stopped selling it. Had to pay more for Maria Nila's, which also can't really be called a spray, feels like a joke. Should be able to complain about things you feel cheated into buying! I know there are differences in sprays but expect that all should have a certain limit for what they give in hold.179 views

I usually use it when I’m done styling and want to fix the result. It can be after blow-drying, when I’ve shaped my waves, or when I’ve just spent a little extra time on my hair and want it to stay nice longer. A few sprays are enough to give the hairstyle that last feeling of control. ✨ What I like is that I can adjust how much I use depending on the look I want. For a regular everyday hairstyle, I don’t need much, I mostly want a little extra hold so the hair doesn’t fall flat right away. But when I’ve done a more worked-through styling, I can use a bit more to get a clearer feeling of durability. I also like to use it when I want to keep volume. I can first build up the hair with other styling products and then use the spray as a final step to help the shape hold. This is especially appreciated when I’ve gotten a really nice blowout and don’t want the volume to disappear after a short while. 🌸 Since I have wavy hair, I also like that I can use it without my waves feeling completely locked. I still want to have some movement and a natural fall, so I prefer to spray a little at a time instead of overdosing. Another thing I appreciate is that it works for so many different types of styling. I can use it for a simple everyday look, a more voluminous blowout, or when I want a little extra control over a more fixed hairstyle. This makes it a very useful product in my styling routine. For me, Maria Nila Styling Spray is simply a product I like to bring out when I want to feel a little extra confident that the hairstyle will hold. 🤍 It’s so nice to be able to spend time on my hair and then not have to feel like everything falls apart right away.
