Nicorette Peppermint compressed lozenge is a nicotine product designed for those ready to kick the smoking habit. Use the Nicorette compressed lozenge to help ease withdrawal symptoms during your quit journey. With a refreshing peppermint flavor, it's your go-to for cravings.
- Nicotine lozenge
- Clinically proven to relieve cravings
- Discreet relief
- Peppermint flavor
- Sugar-free
- For ages 18 and up. Read the leaflet carefully before use.
You can use Nicorette Peppermint compressed lozenge when you're going cold turkey or as part of a gradual reduction plan.
- Cold turkey quit
The idea is to stop smoking immediately and use the lozenge to curb those cravings.
Adults (18 and over)
Start by using 8-12 lozenges a day. Let one dissolve in your mouth as soon as you feel a craving.
Continue using the lozenges this way for up to 6 weeks, then gradually reduce the number of lozenges you take each day.
When you're down to just 1 or 2 lozenges a day, you can stop using them altogether. After you’ve stopped, you might occasionally feel a sudden craving. If that happens, you can use a lozenge again.
- Gradual quit
The plan is to start by gradually replacing some of your cigarettes with the lozenge. Once you’ve nailed that, you’ll quit smoking completely while using the lozenge. Eventually, you’ll stop using the lozenge too.
Adults (18 and over)
Soothe your cravings with a Nicorette Peppermint lozenge instead of a cigarette when you feel a strong urge. Cut down on the number of cigarettes you smoke each day as much as possible. Talk to a healthcare professional if you haven’t managed to reduce your daily cigarette intake after 6 weeks.
As soon as you feel ready, quit smoking completely. Follow the cold turkey instructions above. Do this as soon as you can. Consult a healthcare professional if your attempt to quit smoking hasn’t been successful within 6 months of starting this treatment.
Do not exceed the recommended dose. Follow the instructions carefully and do not take more than 15 lozenges in a 24-hour period.
Avoid eating or drinking while you have a lozenge in your mouth (see Taking Nicorette Peppermint with food and drink).
Children and teenagers aged 12 to 17
Nicorette Peppermint should only be used under a doctor's prescription.
