What’s not to love?
Received the new Buttermelt blushes from NYX Professional Makeup to test them out. They do not disappoint in any way! 🩷🧡 ➕ So heavenly cute packaging ➕ Insanely pigmented!! ➕ Very wide range of colors ➕ Blends like a dream ➕ Smells like strawberries and cream ➕ The powder really feels like butter. Misleading pictures
I was super excited about this since I’ve heard a lot of good things. I really liked the formulation a lot, well pigmented but it still lays evenly 5/5 on that front. The color, however, is not at all like in the picture… when you order a red blush but get an orange one, you become very dissatisfied. 🩷 A blush that truly brings life to the face!
I have really fallen for NYX Buttermelt Blush in 02 Butta Together! It’s such a beautiful soft pink shade that gives the face that fresh, rosy feeling that I personally love. 🤍 The first thing I noticed was the pigmentation – it’s really pigmented! 😂 I only need to lightly tap the brush into the powder and then build up the color. The first time I took a bit too much, so here it’s really less is more. Even though it’s a powder, I think the formula feels almost creamy when working with it. It applies nicely on the skin and I find it very easy to blend out so you can get both a subtle color or build up a more intense blush look. ✨ What I like most about shade 02 is that it gives such a sweet, soft, and healthy pink color without feeling too harsh. I really think it makes the whole makeup look more awake. I also appreciate that it feels so economical. Considering how pigmented it is, I truly believe this little 5-gram product will last a long time. It’s almost hard to use it up if you only need a little each time. 😭 And the packaging itself is actually really cute. Nyx buttermelt blush 02
This blush is absolutely heavenly! Shade 02 is perfect, fresh, and a soft pink that gives the face a lovely healthy glow. The texture feels almost buttery as the name suggests – it applies like a dream and doesn’t leave a powdery or dry finish, even though it’s a powder product. The pigmentation is really strong, so start with a light hand! For my [e.g. dry/combination skin], it’s perfect and lasts all day. Leaves a beautiful even surface without emphasizing skin texture. I have colors 7 and 8. Both are very pigmented, so I need very little. It might be hard to use them up! Easy to blend, with a pleasant scent. For pigmented
I am on the hunt for the perfect powder blush for me. I previously had one that I love but it’s no longer sold. I like when a blush is easy to apply and you don’t have to work too much with it to make it look good. But when I tried this one, I saw that it was so insanely pigmented and you get way too much color. So you have to take very little to get the perfect look. So be careful when you use it. One advantage is that it lasts a long time since you only dab a little each time. I still like it and for its price, it’s absolutely worth buying.
