Thank you Lyko for the opportunity to test this gem, the OBH Nordica Bjørn Axén Tools Magic Style Brush PRO 30 mm heat brush! Here come my thoughts and experiences after the test! A bit about my hair: Coarse hair strands, thick, long, dry, frizzy, and naturally curly, untreated! Sensitive scalp! This is really the right styling product for me to use. With its long cord (3m) which is super great, thank you for that! A good manual is included. Makes no noise😍! The brush is easy to understand, used on dry hair, simple stylish design, not heavy (perfect for those of us with pain or weakness), comfortable in the hand and gives a beautiful result! Quick heating. And a light that turns on when it’s on! There are 2 heat settings to test, 1 & 2. I mostly use setting 2! It’s important though that I brush through my hair a few times beforehand with a hairbrush (less risk of it getting stuck in the brush) and then section the hair to make styling easier! When styling, I use heat protection. It may take a few tries to get the technique down, this is of course individual... I’m still learning...! I have fallen in love with this heat brush! I’m super satisfied! It’s fun to use and the result on my hair is so nice! Shiny and soft hair, curls or straight hair! I do think it would have been even better with a slightly larger brush for my thick long hair since this one was only 30mm. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #OBHNORDICA #BJØRNAXEN #STYLINGTOOL+2

4 days agoVerifierad testareVery easy to use and great styling tool!
I had the honor of testing the Magic Style Brush PRO 30 mm - OBH Nordica x Bjørn Axen. I haven't used many styling tools before, except for the classic flat iron, so this has been a bit of a challenge for me since handling this type of tool isn't in my muscle memory. However, it has been very easy to use anyway, which is greatly appreciated. I have tested this in different ways, more towards the curly side by wrapping the hair around the entire brush, as well as testing to curl the hair only at the ends. I have used curlers in some cases, and in other cases without, and I don't notice any significant difference in using curlers or not. The review below is therefore under the above conditions. 🤭 MY HAIR - Dry and relatively lifeless - Shoulder-length thin hair that gets greasy very easily. - Curly at the base but I believe it's too dry for the natural curls to come through. 🤭 PLUS - Very simple to use - Extra long cord, and it is rotatable so you don't get stuck in the cord. - Two different heat settings. - There is a simpler “comb function” on the side of the heat brush that I appreciated very much. - Can be used in different ways to achieve a more curly or flat result. 🤭 MINUS - Doesn't hold as well on my hair as I had hoped. I've had a really hard time getting the curls or similar to hold for a longer period. I've experimented with different techniques and products before using the tool, but unfortunately, I don't find that it holds better. 🤭 OVERALL IMPRESSIONS I usually don't focus so much on styling my hair since I haven't found it particularly fun to deal with. However, with this brush, I find it more enjoyable since it is such a time-efficient tool to use, while the result is good. The only negative thing I find about this is that the result doesn't last long on my hair. However, I believe it has to do with my hair and not the tool since my hair is generally a bit harder to work with. Overall, I am very satisfied with this heat brush and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a tool that is easy to use. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #OBHNORDICA #BJØRNAXEN #STYLINGTOOL+4

I love a really gorgeous blow-out look, but I am completely hopeless when it comes to achieving it with a hair dryer (or even with a Dyson!). I just can't get it right, and that's why Björn Axén's heat brush is absolutely perfect. It's like they say, a hybrid between a curling iron and a round brush. You need to brush through the hair once with the brush to then roll the hair up in it, hold it for a while, and voilà; beautiful “effortless” curls. One tip that I haven't had much time to play with yet is to roll the hair in curlers to let them cool there; that way the curls hold better. It's important not to forget the heat protection, after all, it's a heat tool you're working with. I, who have super curly hair, had to blow-dry my hair until it became relatively flat to then work in the curls. I definitely think you can achieve the curls without this extra step, but for me, it gets a bit too drawn out. I can highly recommend this heat brush, finally, I can rock a little salon hairstyle!! #LYKOINFLUTESTER #OBHNORDICA #BJÖRNAXEN #STYLINGTOOL8 likes1624 viewsAka

I had the honor of testing the Magic Style Brush PRO 45 mm! A really good heat brush with two different heat settings, which gives the hair a really beautiful blowout look 😃! I have medium thick hair, with a lot of hair strands but which are thin Scandinavian. This size of 45 mm fits my long hair perfectly. If you have shorter hair than me, I would recommend one of the smaller sizes. To be able to get nice curled locks with the brush! I have used other heat brushes before, and my trick to make the hair hold all day is to use rollers in the hair after the heat tool. Which should sit for a while while the hair cools down, and I have done the same with the Magic Style Brush for the best results. The hair looks so nice! 😍 #lykoinflutester #OBHNordica #Björnaxen+2

5 days agoVerifierad testareNice heat tool
Magic style brush PRO 45mm Thank you Lyko and OBH nordica x Björn Axén for the trust to test the new magic style brush PRO I would still like to put myself on a little pedestal🙈🤩 and say that I am a perfect candidate to try out such a heat tool✨ I have Björn Axén's previous magic style brush, which is not PRO. I also have one from another brand that is my absolute favorite heat tool. I read on another website that the old brush goes up to 185 degrees, but none of that is stated on Lyko's website, the only thing you find is in the new round brush's information that the old one goes up to 150 degrees and that the difference now is that there are 150 degrees or 170 degrees to choose from. So the biggest difference is that there are 2 heat levels, which I think is super! I love that the cord “is loose,” so it spins and you never get tangled🙌🏽 The function that it turns off by itself after a while is also superb if you tend to get a little stressed🙈 My hair is typically Scandinavian, thin fiiiiiine fine hair strands, smooth surface, and zero volume… I don’t feel that the tool helps me get volume, but that’s not something I’ve noticed with the other tools either, especially if I’m not working with any leave-in products or similar. I feel that there is a certain change in how the bristle spikes are constructed? For my hair, it glides much easier and finer through the new round brush than the old one✨ feels much gentler and doesn’t take as much hair with it in the brush when I’m done🙌🏽 and the shine you get, let’s not even talk about✨✨✨✨✨ But other than that, I don’t feel any major difference? I think I have to work a little too long with the tool to achieve the desired result, the other tool I have costs around a thousand crowns more, but since I bought it, I haven’t used any other tool at all, I get dream hair in 5 minutes🤩✨ A really nice tool that I know many love, and I really like it, but I choose my other tool over this one. I made a little video where I show how I use the tool😇✨ #lykoinflutester #OBHNORDICA #BJÖRNAXEN #STYLINGTOOL10 likes2000 viewsEmilia

6 days agoVerifierad testareMagic Style Brush PRO 30mm
I have now been so incredibly lucky to test the Magic Style Brush PRO 30 mm - OBH Nordica x Björn Axén I have quite thick hair and medium/long length. This size was unfortunately a bit too small for me, and it took me quite a long time to finish. On the first attempt, I had natural hair, used only heat protectant, and then hairspray with good hold. And as the pictures show, it created incredibly beautiful and detailed curls at first, but after I carefully brushed out, it disappeared quite quickly again, but left a nice shine in the hair. Later, I wanted to test again with straight hair first, as I have experience that this gives a pretty good result for fine curls on me. But unfortunately, this was to no avail, and my hair was completely straight again after just a few minutes. There is a technique to using such a styling brush, and at first, I felt this could be a bit tricky, but as soon as you get the technique down, it works really well. There is also a brochure included where you can read about different ways to style your hair. + It’s a big plus that it has such a long cord that also has a function that rotates and makes you a bit more flexible and makes it easier to work with. + There are two heat settings, and the brush heats up quickly. + The brush automatically turns off after 30 minutes. + Ion function to reduce frizz. All in all, I’m quite satisfied with this styling brush, but again, it’s a technique you have to learn, and I look forward to learning it as this has the potential to be good. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #OBHNORDICA #BJÖRNAXEN #STYLINGTOOL+1

1 week agoVerifierad testareThere's potential, requires practice
I had the honor of testing this heat brush from OBH Nordica x Björn Axén, 45mm. My spontaneous reflection after only having tried it once is that there is potential, but it requires practice. There’s a lot I like about this brush, such as that it’s almost impossible to burn the scalp or fingers since the brush’s "bristles" act as a shield against the hottest part. Therefore, it also feels gentler on the hair than most other heat tools. The long cord provides great freedom of movement, and the automatic shut-off after 30 minutes feels safe and secure. The fact that it’s so multifunctional is almost the biggest plus. You can straighten hair, curl in two different ways, and use it to add more volume. In other words, a lot for the money. It doesn’t state in the description here, but there’s an instruction booklet included in the packaging with several suggestions on how to use the brush. However, the brush was unfortunately not as easy to curl with as I had hoped. To not just brush the curls out again, you had to twist the brush out while rolling carefully. That wasn’t entirely easy without it just becoming one big tangle. I think the secret is not to roll up so many layers of hair in the same spot on the brush and to hold the brush at a certain angle when you twist it out. But, as I said, not entirely simple. It was also easy to get stuck in other hair up top, as I obviously wanted the curls to start as high up on the head as possible (since volume is the whole point). I think it complicates things a bit more if you, like me, have layered hair. Once you finally get the handling perfect, the result is actually really nice. I like that the brush is thick, so it really creates big and fluffy curls that give a blowout feel. Unfortunately, they did tend to fall out pretty quickly. I have quite heavy hair that was also freshly washed. So that problem isn’t entirely unusual, so I won’t just blame the brush. After washing my hair, I used a spray that’s supposed to give hold while the hair was still damp, and then heat protection in two rounds (on damp and dry hair). The curls at the front at least held on long enough to be captured in a picture, so there you can at least see the potential for how nice the curls can be! I obviously managed to twist it the wrong way though.. There I used the method where I first brush from the scalp all the way down, and from there I twist the hair back onto the brush against the head again to hold it there for a while. The straightening function was a bit easier of course and gave a nice result. The volume styling unfortunately didn’t work for me at all. I probably have both too long and too thick hair for that. It also states in the instructions that it’s suitable for shorter hair. The idea is simply to place the brush close to the scalp and pull the hair upward to get a lift. I thought the ionizing function would reduce frizz, but unfortunately, I was wrong there. I think there was quite a bit of frizz after use. I should mention that it’s been five months since I last got a haircut, and it’s quite cold and humid weather right now, which also contributes to the frizz. Another downside that has nothing to do with handling (i.e., me) is that the brush must be placed on a heat-resistant surface when it’s on. Unfortunately, such a thing doesn’t come with it, and there’s also nothing on the brush itself that you can place it on to avoid direct contact with the surface. Hair strands also easily get stuck on the brush, which you have to remember to remove and clean the brush so it doesn’t burn. In summary, this review may sound quite negative, but I have great faith that I will come to love this brush once I’ve learned how to use it in the best way. It’s worth remembering that I have very little to no experience using heat brushes or such types of curling irons that require this technique. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #OBHNORDICA #BJÖRNAXEN #STYLINGTOOL+2

1 week agoVerifierad testareReal magic!
I have tested this hot brush now and am very satisfied with it! I have very straight and completely flat hair, but it takes me under 15 minutes to get my hair like I have done in the picture. A very voluminous look and perfect for curtain bangs! It has two heat settings so you can easily choose the lowest to spare your hair as much as possible or choose higher heat if your hair needs it to take shape. It heats up very quickly, so it’s ready to use in no time. It’s also not too heavy, so you don’t get tired in your arms, and the cord is quite long, which makes it much more practical to use. My hair doesn’t take shape easily, so I use the highest heat setting. It also holds very poorly on waves, so to make it hold better, I use a heat protectant spray with a bit of hold before I use the brush. Then I put rollers in my hair after using the brush on it. Usually, I do this before I do my makeup and let the rollers sit in while I do that. I also spray over with a texture spray and a hairspray with good hold at the end, and then it lasts a long time! This size works well for my hair length or longer hair as you can get a nice fake blow-dry look. If you have shorter hair, you won’t get as much wave in your hair from this and will need to go down a size if you want that. I could also have had a smaller size if I wanted more curls and bounce. I think this can also work very well on frizzy hair to tame the frizz and make the hair smoother! I also think the price for this is good, absolutely worth the money. The only thing I have to criticize is that the brush head is not removable, so it’s a bit more hassle to clean it. Otherwise, top score from me, and this will be used regularly! 🥳 #LYKOINFLUTESTER #OBHNORDICA #BJÖRNAXEN #STYLINGTOOL5 likes2355 views
