Good flat iron!
I have now tested and used the flat iron for a few weeks, and here are my thoughts on it 😊 My hair: thin, fine, and soft. Hard to get volume and curls to hold. ✨ Hair glides easily between the plates ✨ Generous length on the cord ✨ Shiny result after flat ironing ✨ Good to be able to adjust the temperature between 150-210C. I use a maximum of 185 degrees on my hair. ✨ Good with the lock function. The ion function is supposed to help reduce frizz and give a shiny finish, and I think it does. The "ions" are also quite audible during use. Sounds a bit strange and crackling, but that's exactly how it should be when it's an ion function. I measured how long it takes to heat up, and it took 42 seconds to reach 185 degrees and 1 minute to the highest temperature from being completely cold ⏰ Not super fast maybe, but nothing that bothers me. Good that it beeps when it has reached the desired temperature. It gets quite warm on the outside, but not too hot, so it still works to hold when you want to make curls 💖 In summary, I think it is overall a good flat iron; easy to use and with a good result when straightening hair. I am still a bit unaccustomed to it being a bit thicker around the plates, so I have a little trouble getting it right with curls sometimes, but I practice a bit more, and I hope to get a good technique there too 💛 #testbylyko #obhnordica #björnaxenTranslated from swedish

Don't like this flat iron!
This flat iron is equipped with titanium plates that are supposed to provide quick heating, give a long-lasting result, and provide a smooth and shiny finish. You can set the flat iron from 150 degrees up to 210 degrees. ✨about me: Thick Scandinavian hair. ✨what do I think of the product? I’ll start by adding that I usually use GHD’s platinum flat iron and therefore am not at all satisfied with this flat iron. If it had cost 799kr, I would have thought it was a good flat iron and absolutely worth buying, but for 1699kr (retail price).. absolutely not! I would rather have bought a better flat iron where you get more for your money. The flat iron itself is a completely ordinary, simple flat iron. Quite "plastic-y" and feels cheap in my opinion. The gap on the flat iron (the distance between the plates) is not that wide. The flat iron is not made for thick hair. I feel like I have to flat iron the same spot several times before I get it flat. It is incredibly, incredibly slow to heat up. Heating up to 185 degrees took me 1 minute and 21 seconds!!!! My GHD takes me 11 seconds to reach the same degree. What’s good about it is that you have a lock function on the side of the flat iron so you can lock it to make it smaller (practical). You can choose how many degrees you want it to be set to, and it curls the hair easily if you want to do that with it. Long cord. Other than that.. no. There are definitely better flat irons to choose from. ❌ #lykoinflutester #björnaxen #obhnordicaTranslated from swedish

ThermoCARE = takes care of your hair
The video is from my very first use, but since it landed in my hands, I've already used it a dozen times! 🙌 I have naturally straight and fine thin strands, so I'm always looking for tools that can add shine without damaging. I run it at 185°C and the result is fantastic every time, my hair feels soft, manageable, and gets an incredible shine! It also works great for styling my thicker extensions 💎 It heats up super fast, is easy to use (I thought I would be bothered by the LCD screen, but I wasn't) and gives a result that lasts all day 🌟 It also doesn't get too hot so that you can't squeeze it together at the plates with your fingers at high temperatures! A new favorite in my hair styling routine, highly recommended! 💖🫶Translated from swedish

A super good flat iron for my thin blonde hair!
As a Lyko influencer tester, I got to try this nice flat iron from OBH Nordica along with a heat protectant.😍 It is a flat iron with titanium-coated plates that is supposed to provide a more durable result with a shiny finish.✨ I have fine, bleached, and Scandinavian hair and have primarily used this flat iron to straighten my hair, but I have also tested curling my hair with it.☺️✨ I think the flat iron was very sleek and nice, maybe just a bit plasticky. It was easy to understand how it works, I really like that you can adjust the temperature, it's perfect for my thin hair that breaks just by looking at it a little sideways.😍😄 It heated up very quickly and my hair was easy to both straighten and curl.🥰 The hair☺️ stayed straight and shiny all day, and was also very nice the next day. I found it a bit harder to curl my hair with, thought it was a little clunky, but that could also be a matter of getting used to it.😊 Overall, a very stable flat iron!🥳 #lykoinflutester #björnaxen #obhnordicaTranslated from swedish

Great for thin hair, but not for thick hair
I have tested this OBH Nordica Björn Axén Tools for a few weeks! A bit surprised by this little flat iron, unfortunately it takes quite a long time to heat up, if you are used to GHD you will lose patience there. But it gives fantastic results at low heat if you have thin fine hair. Something that really impressed me was that the hair would become so shiny from using it. This flat iron has titanium-coated plates, you get a long-lasting result and a smooth, shiny finish. And it is really true! When I recorded this test, I forced myself to sleep with wet hair to see how it would solve such a problem, and it went very well! My hair: Thin Scandinavian hair Damaged ends (pregnancies, bleaching) Lifeless Whirls that are terrible to tame Voluminous Positive things • good and nice result at low heat (thin hair) • easy to curl with • long cord! over 2 m (perfect in front of the mirror, never within reach of an outlet!🤣) Negatives about this • long time before it gets warm • The price is very high considering there are other brands that are a bit higher but have better features. • If you have thick hair, this is not for you! I myself have thin Scandinavian colored hair and think it is incredibly gentle on my fine hair strands! And a result that lasts! I have really tested this, even slept with wet hair to see what it can do, as in the video I share here. To be completely honest, sometimes you don’t have time/energy to blow-dry your hair and fall asleep with damp hair! And then this was great, the hair became flat and shiny! So incredibly satisfied with this and feel that I would like to test more from OBH Nordica Björn Axén Tools! So if you are looking for a good flat iron in maybe a slightly higher price range and have thin hair, it would really work. But if you have thick hair that requires more power, I do not recommend it. So how many suns! 3 out of 5 suns 🌞🌞🌞 #lykoinflutester #björnaxen #obhnordicaTranslated from swedish

Recommending!
As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I got to try this flat iron from #BJÖRNAXEN and #OBHNORDICA The product🦋 I really liked this flat iron, it feels luxurious and worked excellently! I like that it can be locked in the closed position, and that it doesn't get hot on the outside! When I've looked at flat irons before, I always check if there's any gap between the plates, this one had a tiny little gap at the bottom, but it disappeared if you pressed a little harder! The flat iron heated up surprisingly fast and made a little "pipipip" when it was hot!😍 I experimented with the temperature, just as the description recommended, and landed on 170°C being just right for my hair, perfect for minimizing damage. About me💁🏼♀️ I have naturally wavy/curly hair, which also makes my hair quite dry. I have also bleached my hair. I don't think I've used a flat iron in the last 5 years, so it was really fun to try! In short: ✅Nice design! ✅Can be locked in closed position ✅Doesn't get hot on edges/outside ✅Quick heating ✅Very long cord ❌Small gap between the plates Considering the price, this is definitely a flat iron I would have bought if I were looking for a new one!Translated from swedish

A really nice flat iron, but with some details to consider.
The flat iron impresses right away with its sleek design and long cord, which you really need! The matte surface provides a really good grip, especially when curling, and it feels well thought out that you can lock the plates to protect them. Perfect when you need to put it away in the drawer or pack it in your suitcase. The iron gives nice shine to the hair and cools down relatively quickly, in about 15 minutes. A small downside is that it takes longer than expected to get hot – about 1 minute and 15 seconds, which can feel a bit slow if you’re like me, used to faster styling tools. It took so long that the first time I tried it, I didn’t think it would give any signal that it was ready. But eventually it did! Which I actually think is a plus in itself! Another thing to consider is that it gets very hot where you’d like to hold when curling. That’s a bit of a shame, because otherwise it’s very easy to get nice curls thanks to the slightly rounded shape. The downside is the price, which is quite high. There are others I would rather have bought in about that price range. The pictures show a before shot. Then pictures of straightened hair and also a curled side. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #BJÖRNAXEN #OBHNORDICATranslated from swedish

Good flat iron that feels gentle on the hair
I have tested this flat iron for a couple of weeks. In short: a good flat iron! My hair is typically Scandinavian, thin with many strands. I rarely straighten my hair since I already have flat and "lifeless" hair. I curl my hair sometimes but have never used a flat iron to curl with (which might be visible in the video). I think it straightens the hair well and doesn't "tear" the hair but glides over the strands. However, as mentioned above, I can sometimes find it a bit difficult to handle just because it glides so well. Curling the hair is possible too, but it requires a bit of practice to get a better result than what is shown in my video. + Nice design + Feels gentle on the hair + Good that you can adjust the heat + Does what it’s supposed to + Glides well + Long cord + Heats up quickly - Can be a bit hard to handle because it glides so well For me, who rarely uses a flat iron, this one is just perfect!🦋 #lykoinflutester #obhnordicaTranslated from swedish

Full pott
I had the honor of testing this flat iron from OBH Nordica as a Lykoinflutester – and here comes my impression: My hair * Long * Wavy * Dry * Damaged Positive + The design is a total hit – sleek, modern, and feels luxurious in hand + Straightens hair effectively without unnecessary wear or getting too hot + Glides smoothly through the hair and makes styling easy and pleasant + Hair doesn’t feel “fried” after use – on the contrary, it feels surprisingly soft + Multiple heat settings make it easy to adjust according to the hair's condition and needs – perfect for dry or damaged hair Negative – I haven’t quite managed to get curls with it yet – it could definitely be a technique issue, but worth mentioning ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 out of 5 A really good flat iron that exceeded my expectations, highly recommend! #LykoInflutester #BjörnAxen #OBHNordicaTranslated from swedish

An affordable straightener!
I have now used the OBH Nordica Björn Axén Thermocare Straightener for two weeks and here are my thoughts on it! My hair: I have thin and brittle, typically Scandinavian blonde hair that I refresh at the hairdresser about once a year. To prevent it from falling flat and looking lifeless, I almost always need to style it. When I read about the straightener, it was said to have "thermocare technology," which means it has a heat-protecting system that works to protect the hair during styling. I like that the straightener glides easily and well through the hair, there is no resistance, and it is easier to work with. It also doesn't feel like the hair is taking much damage. A big plus is that it also has a long cord! I haven't used it as a curling iron, only as a straightener, but I am very satisfied with the result I get. What is a little less good is that it feels a bit thick around the plates, which is probably great when making curls to get them nice. But for me, when I straighten, it becomes a bit difficult to get close to the scalp since the tongs don't reach all the way in because the plastic around is a bit thicker/clunky. I, who travel a lot and always have a heat tool with me, think it's super good that it has a locking function to close the tongs. But… When you have long nails like me, the button is hard to press in the lock position. The material of the button is a bit shiny, which means that if you try to lock the button with your finger, you slip, and if you use your nail, you have to be careful so it doesn't break! 😅 + Affordable + Long cord + Glides well through the hair + Doesn't feel like it damages the hair - The lock button is sometimes hard to engage - A bit thick at the tongs, hard to get close to the scalp #lykoinflutester #björnaxen #obhnordicaTranslated from swedish
