Got greasy again in one go?
As #lykoinflutester I got to try four products from #headon, namely Volume spray, Dry shampoo, Dry shaping heat protection, and Care Leave-in conditioner. Unfortunately, I have to say that a common thread across all these products is that I really can't handle the scents. Strong and notes that were not at all my thing! (See the notes below). Really disappointing since they are perfumer Linda Landenberg who created this scent, Verdant. However, she is an incredible inspiration for me when it comes to my interest in perfume. The scent Verdant contains: Top notes: Freshly cut grass, Petitgrain, Coriander Heart notes: Fig leaf, Peach, White flowers, Palmarosa Base notes: Virginian cedar, Siberian pine Also this one with a strong scent that unfortunately lasts all day. Really good mist like their Dry Heat protection since they have a good pressure which is a must for me when it comes to dry shampoo. But I find that it gets too dusty in the hair. They look almost matte and dry instead of a refresh. Then just after maybe 5 minutes if you brush through again, it’s like you look greasy again (as you can see in the other video where my hair is greasy again). So this one didn’t work for me at all.

Too much texture for my taste
As #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I have tried four products from #HEADON, namely Volume spray, Dry shampoo, Dry shaping heat protection, and Care Leave-in conditioner. Unfortunately, I have to say that a common thread across all these products is that I really can't handle the scents. Strong and notes that were not at all my thing! Really sad since they are the perfumer Linda Landenberg who created the scents. However, she is an incredible inspiration for me when it comes to my interest in perfume. The scent really threw me off, which unfortunately is a recurring theme of these products. Some have more perfume than others. But this was one of those that was too much. I really understand the concept of creating texture if you're going to curl the hair, but I still think it becomes too much texture in the hair as well. The hair feels very unfresh and dry, and the next day I feel greasy and unclean. Sure, the bottle is sleek and the mist is really good. I’d rather reach for another product…

The scent Iriscope contains: Top notes: Lemongrass, Iris Heart notes: Clary sage, Iris, Patchouli Base notes: Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Labdanum, Amber, Musk Unfortunately, this product also has a fragrance that I didn’t like at all. I found the mist hard to distribute, and it was easier to spray into my hand to then distribute in my hair. And I won’t be using this up. It doesn’t suit me at all since this scent takes over completely. The scent took over completely!

Convenient to get the product out but also convenient if you want to take it with you. BUT! This scent made it so I couldn't even test it a second time. I showered in the evening and couldn't sleep because the scent was so incredibly strong, and this bothered me all night long. For a while, I actually considered just washing it off! Bourbon vanilla and I will unfortunately never agree...
This perfume is a bit like a riddle for my nose. It smells good, floral! BUT, sweet! I think, going into a flower shop and instead of them using a spray that is water, they have taken sugar syrup instead. It's like a sweet scent without smelling like a pastry. Yes, it has bourbon vanilla in the base and it's there without smelling like vanilla. But we will simply never agree. I think the scent lasts well for a long time. But especially a big plus for the bottle. Smart, compact, and without any unnecessary frills that just take up space while traveling. You can even lock it (by twisting the pink part) and it is without a cap. The latter is perfect for us clumsy ones who manage to misplace everything. I will probably spray this bottle up eventually, BUT deep down I know I will reach for another that suits me better. If you like floral and sweet scents that don’t make you smell like a freshly baked bun, then this one is for you! I am however incredibly curious about the male version of this as it has incredible notes in it. A real summer refresher!
This mist is truly summer in a bottle. I fell in love with the scent the first time I tried it, and since then it has permanently lived in my backpack that I use for work. Yes, it unfortunately won't fit in a handbag unless you have a big one and are ready for a bit of weight. It is still a solid bottle of 250 ml. So for me, it won't fit for travel. As I said, I have it at work. So I take it with me, considering that after a few hours you need to freshen up the scent a bit or hide the sweat smell. I would say it works optimally, but they might actually have been better off asking the colleagues about that. Unfortunately, I get a good feeling when I use it since it smells so good, but one spray is definitely enough as it smells quite strong at first. So I have to learn to control myself a bit. I am a real sucker for citrus scents, which makes this a clear favorite. But I am definitely curious about the other scents in this Ica Pop series (Berry Bliss and Very Cherry) that might suit the fall and winter season better. It would definitely have gotten full points if the bottle were smaller (of course also a lower price then) so you could take it on the go. A really nice flat iron, but with some details to consider.
The flat iron impresses right away with its sleek design and long cord, which you really need! The matte surface provides a really good grip, especially when curling, and it feels well thought out that you can lock the plates to protect them. Perfect when you need to put it away in the drawer or pack it in your suitcase. The iron gives nice shine to the hair and cools down relatively quickly, in about 15 minutes. A small downside is that it takes longer than expected to get hot – about 1 minute and 15 seconds, which can feel a bit slow if you’re like me, used to faster styling tools. It took so long that the first time I tried it, I didn’t think it would give any signal that it was ready. But eventually it did! Which I actually think is a plus in itself! Another thing to consider is that it gets very hot where you’d like to hold when curling. That’s a bit of a shame, because otherwise it’s very easy to get nice curls thanks to the slightly rounded shape. The downside is the price, which is quite high. There are others I would rather have bought in about that price range. The pictures show a before shot. A true favorite that gets full marks!
I have used this incredible product for over 15 years and I actually have only good things to say about it! The scent takes me straight back to old party nights, you know that feeling when you were ready to get ready and ready for a party! If you are sensitive to scents, this might not be for you as they smell quite strong. It contains iris, jasmine, and vanilla. And I usually have a hard time with vanilla in scents. But in this combination, it works perfectly as I really like jasmine. The mist also has a good pressure, so it lands in the hair and not on the floor (because we all have a tendency to spray a mist on the bathroom floor after a way too finely distributed mist?😂). Available in both large (150 ml) and small (50 ml) packaging. The small one always comes with me on trips, and it’s super easy to refill from the large one, big plus! The price is also incredibly reasonable! Honestly, there’s nothing I don’t like about this product. That’s probably why I always come back to it. What a damn scent!! Magic!
As a LYKOINFLUTESTER, I got to try some products from BYLYKO, namely the Why dry Moisture Hair serum, Beyond blond silver shampoo, and this conditioner. My hair type: Scandinavian blonde hair, thick with many fine strands. Needs a lot of moisture to prevent frizzy hair. Really damn nice scent! I would grab a perfume with this scent immediately!! Incredible! The bottles are unfortunately way too hard, which makes it difficult to squeeze out the product since the product itself has a pretty thick formula. You really have to press, and since the bottle is also so small and compact, you don’t have much surface to grip. Would I buy it again, no… actually not. I don’t think it makes any impression on me other than that I’m waiting for a perfume with this scent to come! Come on now Lyko, go for it F-A-aaan!1 product in post What a damn scent!! Affordable despite some flaws…
As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I got to try some products from #BYLYKO, namely the Dry hydration Conditioner, Why dry Moisture Hair serum, and this silver shampoo. My hair type: Scandinavian blonde hair, thick with many fine strands. Needs a lot of moisture to prevent frizzy hair. Something made my scalp itch during the testing period. I tried two other products from the same brand. But I suspect it was the silver shampoo, as it was the only product I used on my scalp and let sit for a while. If you have dry cuticles, it might be good to keep in mind that they can turn purple. However, it’s not a dealbreaker for me, as it can easily be avoided with a pair of gloves. But it’s still worth mentioning! The scent is nice and definitely one of the product's advantages. But aside from the itching and a little purple cuticle, I really have to say that it’s extremely good at what it’s supposed to do. It really gives a cool color to the hair and it really does its job! BUT, follow up with a hair mask as the hair does get dry. Even this packaging is very hard, but they get away with it as this silver shampoo has such a runny formula. Will I buy it again? Maybe actually. It’s actually very affordable anyway!
