Effective even on dark blonde hair!
Neutralized a lot of the brassiness even in darker blonde hair. The pictures are before/after the first use. It will be exciting to see how cool it gets after a couple more rounds. I've been using this shampoo for a couple of years on my light hair. I hate the slightest sign of yellow in my hair and want it as cool as possible. I often find that silver shampoos make my hair dry and frizzy. Which is really not good for someone like me with bleached hair. Considering the hair is already damaged, I mean🙈 And let's not even talk about how easily hair gets discolored by silver shampoo. In some places it turns green, and in others nothing happens. A result you definitely want to avoid. But this one is absolutely amazing for my hair. It moisturizes, cleanses, and leaves the whole hair in a cool tone. Completely without discoloration. Highly recommend this. The only downside is the price. A bit too expensive if you, like me, use it very often. To neutralize the orange tones in the current state, a toner can help, but it will give a somewhat darker overall result than the desired picture. I bought this Olaplex Blonde Enhancer Toning Shampoo No.4 because I wanted to get rid of yellowness without the hair drying out too much – and I have to say, I was genuinely positively surprised. After the first wash, I already noticed a difference: the tone brightened clearly and the yellowness faded, but the hair didn’t feel stiff at all, like with some silver shampoos. On the contrary, the hair remained soft and easy to manage. I use this a couple of times a week, and the result stays really good. I also like that you don’t need to use much – a small amount is enough, so the bottle lasts a long time. Purple hair
Since I have gotten more gray hair but the lengths are light and more yellowish, I tried this shampoo and conditioner. I turned purple at the roots and on the lighter parts but it made no difference on the yellower parts. Additionally, my hands, nails, and cuticles got stained and lasted several days. Use:
