🤎 A powder that gets the job done!
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 005 Silky Beige is truly one of those powders I like to keep close at hand when I want my base to look a bit more even and matte. I especially like it when I want to remove shine without having to apply a ton of product. What I like most is how easy it is to use. I can apply a thin layer where I need it and quickly get a more matte and set feeling. It feels convenient both when I do my full makeup and when I just want to touch up my base during the day. ✨ 005 Silky Beige is also a nice shade for those who want a beige powder that blends naturally into the base. I like when powder doesn’t change the foundation color too much but just helps to set it. The finish is matte, which is perfect when you want to reduce shine especially in the T-zone. At the same time, I find it easy to build up the result step by step – better a little at a time than accidentally getting that super powdery feeling. 😂🤍 This is also a very practical product to have in your makeup bag. It’s easy to pull out when your skin starts to get shiny and you want to quickly freshen up your makeup. No complicated application and no big project. I really like these everyday products. They might not be the most exciting in the makeup bag, but they are the ones you actually use again and again because they just work. If you like a more matte base and want to keep shine under control, I definitely think Rimmel Stay Matte is worth trying. A nice powder at a good price!
I rarely use powder actually, because I feel like my face gets stiff and that it can settle into fine lines if you overdo the powder use... But that was before I tried this! I only use a little on a fluffy brush in the t-zone and it lays very nicely over the rest of the makeup. I take away one star because it settles into lines under the eyes, but for the rest of the face - totally great!
