Am I dreaming? Don’t wake me up! 💖✨
As a #lykoinflutester, I received this LED/EMS mask from #silkn. Those of you who have been following me here on LYKO for a while know that I have issues with hypopigmentation (pigment-free acne scars) combined with melasma (brown/gray skin areas). It feels like I have tried every product that claims to help with pigmentation, but nothing has worked. The only thing I haven’t tried is light therapy. I have used this in combination with a tailored cream from Dermatica, antioxidants in the form of skinceuticals ce ferulic, and SPF50. I have used the mask every day for 6 weeks. A Gamechanger 🎯 This LED mask from Silkn also has built-in EMS that trains your facial muscles to counteract wrinkles and sagging. I have previously tried both Foreo UFO and Foreo bear, which have similar functions. Silkn’s mask is a gamechanger because it does the work for you, so you don’t have to use your hands. EMS ⚡️ The EMS function has 10 different levels, there is plenty of room to work my way up. I use EMS 3 times a week so that the muscles have enough time to recover. The only thing that has been uncomfortable is when you feel the current going through your teeth. Material and function 😍 The Silkn mask is made of soft silicone and is secured with Velcro around the head. It is clear that the mask primarily focuses on pigmentation as it has red/yellow and near-infrared light. I absolutely LOVE that Silkn, so we don’t miss out on the blue light, has built it into the little control box that comes with it. Perfect for spot treatment of acne. Different light types 🚦 * Red light (633nm) ❤️ – collagen stimulation and healing * Amber (605nm) 🧡 – soothes, evens skin tone, pigment focus * Near-infrared ❤️ (830nm/1072nm) – deeper healing, cell energy * Blue light (405nm) 🩵 – spot treatment for inflammation and acne, integrated into the box Pricing 💸💸💸 It’s an expensive mask I would never have invested in myself without knowing it works. In hindsight, I can only conclude that it is ridiculously worth the price compared to all the skincare and treatments I have spent money on to improve my pigmentation. 💫 Result: Melasma fades away I have used the mask in combination with a pigmentation cream and the antioxidant CE-ferulic. The results speak for themselves - absolutely insane! I started with noticeable melasma on my forehead and at the temples/under the eyebrows – and now those spots are practically gone. The largest spot next to my eye has completely disappeared. My entire forehead is noticeably lighter and more even in tone. Thank you so much for this assignment 🥰

I’m probably not the target group
I have to be honest and say that I was mega skeptical about this product. very expensive and promises a lot that I don’t think will be measurable on my skin. I don’t have fine lines and a relatively even skin with some blemishes here and there. I used program 2 & 3 which are supposed to help with a more even skin tone and less redness, as well as regulate oil production in the skin. Very strange and unfamiliar to wear at first and difficult to use with glasses, so it limits what you can do while using it🤓 On first use, the EMS mode was very scary, I felt it really tingling in my cheeks on the lowest setting, and my lips were vibrating uncontrollably. I also felt a slight tingling in some areas. It varies a lot from time to time how strongly I felt it, unsure of the cause. I really like that it automatically runs for 10 minutes so you don’t have to think about it. I have to be honest and say that I completely fell off with this, I am not the target group for this product and I noticed no difference after a few weeks of use and my motivation also slowly faded. So if you have young and relatively even skin, you might also be able to skip this product since it is also dyyyrt. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #SILKN12548 views- The user's roll: Former employee. Melasma
I wonder what it's like if you have melasma on your upper lip? I've heard that it can be stimulated and worsened by using LED masks, especially with infrared light. Do you know anything about this? Does the mask get warm?455 views - The post was made 2 days
Jawline
I wonder if it also helps the jawline? Like hamster cheeks or orange peel on the chin.496 views - The post was made 1 week
Nickel Allergy
Hi, I want to buy the LED EMS Face Mask, but I'm unsure if the metal circles inside the mask contain nickel. I have emailed the manufacturers, and it has been several weeks without a response. Do you have any experiences with it, or do you have a nickel allergy and have tried the mask? Hope to get a response🙏🏻 Roayda1341 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. Gel
Must this LED EMS Face Mask be used together with the silk’n gel?6132 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 3 weeksHello Juan ⭐ The Silk’n LED EMS Face Mask should be used on clean, dry skin. You don’t need to use Silk’n gel with it, as serums or creams can affect the LED light and EMS effectiveness. Have a nice day💗1 likes

Blue Light
Hey! I'm wondering how the blue light works? Do I direct the light at my skin? Should I hold it close to my skin? Do I hold it for 10 minutes or should I hover it over my face? I can't find anything in the instructions about it.6365 views- The comment was made 2 daysI wonder the same. The blue light is not in the mask itself, but separately in the handheld remote control.

Difference?
What is the difference between this mask and the Silk'n Dual LED Mask Black mask? 😘❤️6833 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 2 monthsHi Hanna😊 Thank you for your question! ✨ Here’s a summary of the differences between the Silk’n Dual LED Mask Black and the Silk’n LED EMS Face Mask: Both masks use LED light technology to improve skin texture, stimulate collagen, and combat signs of aging. 👉🏻The Dual LED Mask Black focuses entirely on light therapy, with different wavelengths of red and infrared light as well as a blue light (in the remote) that can help reduce acne-related redness. It treats both the face and neck and is suitable for those who want an effective yet simple LED routine. 👉🏻The LED EMS Face Mask has all of the above – but with additional technology. It combines LED light with EMS (electrical muscle stimulation) that activates the facial muscles to provide a lifting effect, improve firmness, and increase skin elasticity. It also has more light settings, including Deep Near Infrared and Amber, which penetrate deeper into the skin. In short: – If you want a sleek LED mask focused on skin tone, texture, and radiance, the Dual LED Mask Black is more than sufficient. – If you want to work more actively on lifting and strengthening facial contours, then the LED EMS Face Mask is the more advanced (and more intense) option 🎭 I hope this answer can help you in your choice and that you have a super lovely day🌞8 likes

But the nose though?
Dumb question maybe, but why isn't the nose covered by the mask?5703 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 3 monthsHi Ana😊 Thank you for your question!✨ This Silk’n LED EMS Face Mask is designed with an open area for the nose, which means the nose is not covered by the mask. From what I can gather, this is to ensure the mask is comfortable to wear, facilitate breathing, and reduce the risk of discomfort or irritation on the nose during treatment. Hope that answers your question🌞1 likes

LED MASK
I’ve been so lucky to test this LED EMS mask from Silk’n. First impression: Nice packaging, and nice design. Simple – and straightforward! + You get good instructions for use. I’ve used it almost daily for about 6 weeks, and the conclusion is that you definitely see results when you use it consistently. First of all, a bit about my skin: I have combination skin, sensitive and with mild acne. Additionally, it can feel dehydrated and is starting to show signs of fine lines, especially around the eye area. So, the absolute worst combination! I’ve tried most things in skincare, including laser treatments with a dermatologist, so I’m very excited about the results this mask can provide. The mask can be set to different levels, where it is supposed to help with various issues. You’ll find a good detailed explanation, so you can set the mask to the program that suits you. Very easy to use the control to switch between programs. Additionally, you can adjust the intensity levels within the different modes. Big plus! I’ve mostly used Mode 2 and Mode 4. And about 2-3 times a week, I’ve used the EMS function. If the explanation «EMS facial workout, skin pilates, and face yoga combined» isn’t enough of a selling point in itself, I can attest that it’s surprisingly pleasant. You can feel the mask working, and see results in better circulation. Good! Wipe it down with a damp cloth after use; and it’s ready for the next day. I’ve integrated this mask into my daily evening routine, it takes 10 minutes. Feels a bit strange at first, but you quickly get used to it! As the results come, it’s easier to remember. One might think that over 4000 kr is a lot of money for a face mask; BUT, I find that with consistent use over time, the results are on par with laser treatments from a dermatologist, and that is much more expensive. The advantage here is that you have the mask at home and can maintain the good results. I will continue to use it as the finishing touch in my skincare routine, and I recommend giving it a try!
