Bestie, I bought it by accident, I wanted serum with Asian marshmallow and was browsing reviews of different cosmetics, and this one had few but all positive 😭 And now I know why…🤵 Wonderful milky and enveloping consistency that hydrates all dry patches overnight. Additionally, prebiotics work very well on the hydrolipid barrier and my skin loves it. A very moisturizing serum that doesn’t feel sticky. The skin feels hydrated in the morning and it hasn’t caused me more pimples (which happened with previous serums). This one feels gentle and soothing. I experience that my surface dryness completely disappears with this. I was afraid to try it because my sensitive skin often gets more pimples, but this has worked great. I definitely recommend it! It contains almost only centella asiatica and moisturizing base ingredients, so it is very light, water-like, and mainly focuses on calming redness, irritation, and sensitive skin without doing much more than that. It’s good if you want something super simple and “clean” in your routine. SKIN1004 Probio-Cica Intensive Ampoule is more advanced and richer in its formula. It contains fermented centella, ceramides, panthenol, and more barrier-strengthening ingredients, which means it not only soothes the skin but also works more actively to strengthen the skin barrier and provide more hydration. It usually feels a bit richer and more “nourishing” on the skin compared to the original. In short, you could say the original is best for simple soothing and a light feel, while Probio-Cica is better if the skin is more out of balance, sensitive, or needs extra barrier support and hydration.
