    Most effective use

Hi I wonder how long and how often one should use it to get the best effect?

  • LED face mask

Hi! I am 69 years old and considering ordering the Silk’n LED face mask. I have no experience with this type of product, but I would really like to reduce my wrinkles. Can it have an effect on wrinkles when your skin is very thin and dry? Your price is attractive, but is there a difference in quality and effectiveness compared to similar products that are much more expensive, aside from having more color features, like FOREOs? I can also see that you sold the product at an even lower price. Was that during a sale? Best regards Beauty enthusiast

No Near Infrared - Don't waste your money

Silk'n used to sell this exact mask for the same price, with Near Infrared Light. They removed NIR and now it's completely useless. Red light only works in combination with NIR. I didn't notice they had removed it and now I wasted so much money on a piece of junk.

I found it in multiple comparisons up to last year. But you're right that I should have checked. I just couldn't imagine they would change it.

    Different Areas of Use

Hi! I just ordered one and I'm really looking forward to trying it out! But how do you work with the different lights if you want to address multiple problem areas? Do you use one light for a few days and then switch to another for a few days, or should you use one light for a longer period before switching to the next to get the best results?

Hey Sofiaosc How fun that you ordered a Silk'n LED mask You can use the Automatic Mode setting for a complete treatment with all colors in the same treatment. If you want to alternate with treatments in specific colors, you can choose Manual Mode to focus on a specific color and treatment You can absolutely use just one light for a longer period if it's a specific area you want to work extra hard on, but it definitely doesn't hurt to use multiple lights at the same time to work in different ways! Take care ❤️

    Effect

Hello, Is the setting "automatic mode" just as effective to use once, as if you used "manual mode" with one color at a time and then did it four times to get all colors?

Hey Sarah 💖 The setting \'automatic mode\' has no effect on the effectiveness. It’s about the time you spend and the color you prefer - depending on what result you want 🤗 All the best from here 🌟

    Question

Hi! This is a gift, and the giving day is still a bit far away. How can I test this so I don't accidentally give a broken gift that can't be returned?

    Simulate daylight

Hi! Will this mask work in the same way as light therapy lamps that are supposed to simulate natural daylight?

Hi Emilie LED light masks are primarily meant to treat various skin conditions and do not have the same effect as daylight lamps. 💖 LED light masks focus on skincare and use specific light wavelengths to treat skin issues. 💛 Light therapy lamps simulate natural daylight to improve mood and energy levels, especially during the dark season, and regulate the circadian rhythm. Wishing you a super nice day!

    Pores & acne scars

Hey, does this help reduce large pores? And acne scars?

Hey Tina This focuses on both pores and improving skin texture. The light that suits you best is the blue light, which counteracts bacteria that cause acne and helps to normalize oil production for clearer skin and improved skin texture 💖 Wishing you a lovely day!

Hi Pia! First of all, you should be a bit careful if you have rosacea or other skin conditions that can be triggered by heat and light. Many with rosacea have very sensitive skin that can react negatively to heat or light, even in small doses. I recommend talking to your dermatologist about whether LED therapy is a suitable product for you. Have a nice day❤️

Hi Nora! It is documented that blue light has an antibacterial effect, but this alone can only do so much and is meant to be used in combination with a skincare routine tailored to your skin. Have a nice day❤️
