10 minutes a day for your skin
Light therapy for your face in 10 minutes. Four different light therapies: Red - reduces fine lines, stimulates collagen production. Blue - promotes skin purity, reducing surface inflammation like acne. Yellow - for dry and sensitive skin, adds moisture. Purple - anti-aging, increases skin vitality. Especially suitable if your skin needs vary, like mine. My skin has evened out in color with use. Just 10 minutes and you can do other things at the same time. -1 star because the battery needs charging often. #lykoreview - Most helpful negativeThe post was made 5 monthsRating: 1 out of 5verified customer
Don't buy, it's very bad!!!
I have a cheap one from AliExpress at home that lasts 1.5 hours.. this one is expensive and turns off every 10 minutes, that's not in the description, I returned it, they don't want to accept it, they say you tried it, that's logical 😡. For 150 euros, you expect something that is good and it only has 4 LED colors when it should normally be 7!!! You can get this at Temu for 15 euros, people don't buy!!! ❗❗❗11708 views- The comment was made 2 monthsI would NEVER buy anything for the skin from Temu, Schein, or Aliexpress. Not an electric device either. How can you trust them, anything could happen!12 likes

routine
Hi. I want to get recommendations directly from you. What skincare routine do you recommend in connection with using the mask – both before and after treatment? What types of products (for example, cleanser, serum, moisturizer) work best to use with the mask, and are there products I should avoid right before or after use?79 views- The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. The comment was made 1 dayHey hey 👋 Using an LED mask like the Silk’n LED Face Mask 100 requires a bit of planning around treatments and products to avoid irritation and to get the best possible effect. Here is our recommended skincare routine before and after use, which active ingredients are suitable, and what you should be cautious with. 💓Here are active ingredients / types of products that often work well with LED light, especially after treatment: -Moisturizers & soothing ingredients: Hyaluronic acid, glycerin, panthenol, aloe vera, centella asiatica, ceramides. -Niacinamide: helps with redness, strengthens the skin barrier, can work well together. -Peptides: for anti-aging, collagen support. -Mild exfoliation can be used, but preferably not right before light treatment. ❗Products / ingredients you should be cautious with / avoid right before and immediately after -Strong acids (AHA, BHA, PHA) right before LED use should be avoided — they can make the skin more sensitive, and combined with light can increase the risk of irritation. -Retinoids / retinol / tretinoin should not be applied before the LED mask. If you use such, do it after the light treatment, and introduce them gradually. There are different opinions, but generally safer to use after. (Some users report irritation if they use retinol and LED light too closely together). -Strong peels / mechanical exfoliation right before. Wait until the skin has calmed down. -Products with a lot of oil, heavy balms / creams right before can block the light. Some tips for integrating into a full skincare routine If you use retinol, plan LED treatment on "retinol-free" evenings, or let retinol be the last product step after LED and aftercare is completed. Keep the skin well hydrated and with a good barrier: LED can help, but if the skin is damaged or dry, irritation can occur more easily. Always finish with SPF if you are going out. Even though LED does not "damage" directly like UV, the sun helps worsen aging and pigmentation. Test new active products alone first, before combining with LED, especially with sensitive skin 🙌 You use the mask on clean and dry skin — moisturizing mild serum or cream before treatment. After treatment, you can use serum and/or moisturizer as usual. Frequency of use: At startup about 3-4 times a week for a few weeks, then maintenance (1-2 times a week when you start to see results) 🥰Product tips: lyko.com/no/torriden/torriden-low-molecular-hyaluronic-acid-cleansing-foam-150-ml lyko.com/no/anua/anua-8-hyaluronic-acid-hydrating-gentle-foaming-cleanser-150-ml lyko.com/no/beauty-of-joseon/beauty-of-joseon-calming-serum-green-tea---panthenol-30ml lyko.com/no/beauty-of-joseon/beauty-of-joseon-glow-serum-propolis-niacinamide-30-ml lyko.com/no/vichy/vichy-mineral-89-fortifying-and-plumping lyko.com/no/klairs/klairs-midnight-blue-calming-cream-60ml-60ml lyko.com/no/embryolisse/embryolisse-lait-creme-concentre--30-ml lyko.com/no/beplain/beplain-cicaful-calming-gel-80ml Wishing you a nice day ahead 👋2 likes

Use of the mask.
Hi! I got this mask today and I'm currently using it only for acne, and therefore using blue light. I've used it once for 15 minutes. My skin didn't react badly to it. I'm wondering if it's intended for me to use it every day or how often. I want to see results as quickly as possible.3187 views- The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. The comment was made 1 monthHi Emelina! You can use the mask about 3-5 times a week, 10-15 minutes each time. It’s not necessary to use it more than once a day – your skin needs time between treatments. Remember that results come over time, so be patient and maintain a consistent routine for the best effect. If you experience redness, irritation, or discomfort, we recommend taking a break and possibly reducing the frequency. Good luck with the treatment ✨2 likes

Combine multiple lights?
I just got the mask home and want to combat fine lines and acne, so I want to use red and blue light. But I can't figure out the rules around it. Can I do 10 min red and 10 min blue right after each other, or how should I think when combining?3381 views- The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. The comment was made 1 monthHey Emelie! I understand - what you can do is split the time, so 5 minutes of each light one after the other. Start a little slow and feel on your skin how it feels after/the next day. They recommend 10-15 minutes per session, so not more than that. Wishing you a nice Friday and weekend 🌸

Can the mask be used during pregnancy?
Hi, Is the mask suitable to use when you are pregnant?3236 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 2 monthsHi Nora😊 Thank you for your question! ✨ According to the manufacturer Silk’n, it is not recommended to use the LED mask during pregnancy or breastfeeding. This is a precautionary measure as there is insufficient research in the area. The positive thing is that you have this to look forward to in your skincare routine afterwards when the time comes 🎭 I hope my answer can be helpful and that you have a lovely day🌞1 likes

Charging
How do you charge it?3093 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 2 monthsHi Matilda😊 Thank you for your question✨ To charge your Silk’n LED Face Mask, do the following: 1. Connect the smaller end of the USB cable to the charging port on the mask and the larger end to a USB power adapter, such as a wall adapter or computer. 2. Let the mask charge fully before first use and when the battery level is low. 3. When the battery level is low, the indicator light will blink three times before the product automatically turns off. 4. To make the battery last longer, it is recommended to charge the mask regularly, even if it is not used often. Also, feel free to check the user manual that comes with it. Please reach out if you have more questions, and I hope you have a lovely day🌞1 likes
