    Awesome!

After a few weeks of use, I've noticed a clear improvement in my skin! Incredibly soft, and my skin tone has become more even, I feel like my pores have gotten smaller (but that could just be wishful thinking 😂) I do think, however, that you need to use the mask for a longer time to see even more noticeable results! The mask is easy to use and made of a soft, flexible silicone material that feels relatively comfortable against the skin and is easy to clean. The little control is also really handy – small enough to fit in your pocket, which allows you to continue doing other things at the same time without any issues. The only downside is the fastening around the head. It doesn't sit perfectly and requires a bit of adjustment, but I don't feel that it affects the actual effect – just the comfort. And that the edge around the eyes feels a bit tight when you fasten it. In summary: a user-friendly and effective LED mask with a few design flaws, but with results that make it worth the time. I'm satisfied and will continue to use it! 🌸 #lykoinflutester #silkn

    User-friendly and comfortable but...

... in four weeks nothing exciting has happened with my skin 🙂 I have been testing this mask for four weeks now, and here comes my evaluation of the product so far. I write "so far" because such products need longer than 4 weeks to have a proper effect, so I will update in a few months. Anyway, the mask comes in a box and with an instruction manual. It charges with a USB cable but does not need to be "plugged into the wall" when you use it. You control the lighting from a device that is attached to a cord in the mask, and you can keep it in the pocket of your robe while you walk around and use it at home. There are four straps that you connect: two over the head and two behind the head, very simple! I think the fit is surprisingly good on the face. And it is easy to adjust. I have only used the manual function and have exclusively run with red light. There is red, blue, yellow, and purple light, all of which help the skin with different "problems", and these are clearly indicated in the instruction manual. It also states how to choose the setting for the skin at the mask, and there are different schedules for the first four weeks. The manual function runs for 10 minutes on your chosen color, and the automatic function runs all four colors at different intervals for a total of 15 minutes. I have strictly followed the schedule and have not had any reactions other than a little redness for a while after the first uses. However, I have unfortunately not had any direct POSITIVE reactions or changes either, as the skin has been about the same as usual. Compared to the more expensive variants, this one does not have as many LED lights, and that might make a difference... but regardless, I want to give it a longer trial period than the four weeks I have been assigned as a Lyko influtester, so you can see this a bit as a partial rating, and I will update later! #silkn #lykoinflutester

Hey ThereseR😊 Thank you for sharing so thoroughly about your experience🤍 Such a nice video and how fun to hear that the mask is user-friendly, comfortable, and fits well on the face! 🎭 I understand that you haven't seen any major changes yet – LED masks can take time and skin reacts differently for everyone. It's really great that you're giving the product a longer chance, and we look forward to hearing how it goes further down the line. So fun that you got to try this as #Lykoinflutester, your feedback is super valuable and really helps others get a good picture of the product!🙏🏻🤩 Hope you have a lovely day❄️

    Which light

For best results, do you recommend focusing on 1 light at a time for a longer period or mixing?

Hi Sandra😊 For best results, it is recommended to use one light per treatment, based on your main skin goal (e.g., red for anti-aging or blue for blemishes). It’s also fine to alternate between different lights on different days, but avoid mixing multiple colors in the same session. Regular use is the most important for seeing results. Hope the answer can be helpful and that you have a nice day💫

    Hidden gem

I really think this is worth the price. Already after a few uses, it feels like I'm seeing results, which surprised me. The only little negative is that it can feel a bit uncomfortable around certain areas and sometimes give a slight headache, but that goes away pretty quickly and hasn't been a bigger problem for me. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will continue to use it.

    Breastfeeding

Hi, can you use the mask while breastfeeding?

If you are thinking about the Shark CryoGlow mask (we don’t have it with us), it states, as far as I can find according to the manufacturer’s official safety information, that it should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, as it has not been tested for these conditions. The instructions say that one should avoid use if pregnant, breastfeeding, or may be pregnant. It has a more advanced LED mask with built-in cooling under the eyes + several treatment programs that are supposed to help with fine lines, acne, radiance, and puffiness. Therefore, it is best to avoid using these altogether according to the instructions 🙏🏻😊

    Usage

How often should you use it? 1 or 2 times a day?🌟

Hi Elin😊 You can use the LED mask 3-4 times a week at the beginning, about 10-15 minutes each time. Once you see results, 1-2 times a week for maintenance is sufficient 🌟 It is used as a complement to your regular skincare, not morning and night. Hope the answer can be helpful and that you have a super nice day💫

    Serum for the mask

Hi! Can you use any serum for the mask? Thinking about this one? lyko.com/sv/faq-swiss/faq-swiss-faq-red-light-peptide-serum-30ml

Hey Josefine! 👋🏽 The Silk’n LED mask should be used on completely clean and dry skin (without makeup, impurities, or cream/serum) for the LED light to reach the skin as effectively as possible. I wouldn’t recommend using a serum before you use your mask. But after the treatment, it’s perfect to apply a serum or a moisturizer to hydrate and care for the skin. 👌🏽😍 The FAQ Swiss product is designed to be used together with their masks to optimize the masks' effect. 🥰 Have a lovely day! 🌞

    LED LIGHT mask and pimples

Hi, I’m using acne cream, so cordes. Can I use the LED light mask in addition to this acne cream, or will I damage my skin? Does it actually work on scars?

Hi Tuva! It is generally not recommended to use in combination with LED light treatment, but it can be a nice alternative for prevention after the treatment is finished if the skin does not feel sensitive or irritated. The treatment can work on post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (red marks after acne). Have a nice day❤️

    Does it work for milia?

Is it good to use something like this if you have a lot of problems with milia and similar accumulations of sebum/fat etc. under the skin (especially on the chin/around the mouth)?

    • The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. The comment was made 2 weeks
Hi Ullis! LED masks unfortunately do not remove milia as they are small trapped keratin cysts, and LED light cannot exfoliate or dissolve them. The fastest and safest way is to get help at a salon/clinic to manually remove them. But in the long run, peeling products with acids and/or retinoids are also effective. As a complement to regular skincare, LED is good for improving the overall structure and combating bacteria found in pimples 🙏 Good luck and Merry Christmas 🎄

    Silk’n or Stylpro?

Hey! Should I buy the Silk’n LED Face Mask 100 or the STYLPRO LED Wavelength Mask for my boyfriend's mom who is 70+ years old?

    • The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 3 weeks
Hey Julia Elina Sofia😊 Thanks for your question✨ How lovely that you are looking for a gift for your boyfriend's mom🎀 For 70+ skin, I would recommend the Silk’n LED Face Mask 100, as it has more LED settings that are good for mature skin and is easy to use. It is better suited for anti-aging than STYLPRO. Hope the answer can be helpful and that you have a lovely day💫
