Moisturizes well
I have as #lykoinflutester had the opportunity to test some products from #thebodyshop and next up is Shea body butter. The scent is much milder than the body mist in the same series that I reviewed earlier but still has that slightly musty, “bad perfume” background, the scent does disappear quickly from the body. What gives this its ⭐️⭐️ is that it moisturizes well, I have quite normal skin and don’t require much but this glides on the skin like butter and leaves it soft and supple. Totally okay!
Unlike the body mist I tried in the same series, this body butter has a much milder & more pleasant scent! And here you can feel a hint of the nuttiness you expect 🌰 It comes in a metal jar & I like the design. However, it is a bit hard to open sometimes as it feels like it gets stuck in the grooves! And you have to twist & twist. It is said to protect and care for very dry skin! And I have constantly dry skin and tend to have atopic eczema in the fall and winter 🍂 The body butter is rich in texture & absorbs relatively quickly into the skin, but it still feels like a little “film” lingers! And I never feel really moisturized no matter how much I use of the product! And after a while of using it, I went back to my regular body lotion! But I have continued to use this on my neck and décolletage! However, it only gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️ from⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ as it doesn’t reach further forward! #thebodyshop #lykoinflutester - The post was made 8 months
