Melts away the dirt
I have, as a #lykoinflutester, had the chance to try a bunch of products from #no7. Next up for review is the Glow grind cleansing balm, a cleansing balm with vitamin C and squalane. It’s supposed to deeply cleanse and care for the skin, and I really think it does. It literally melts away all makeup without leaving any residue. The skin is left hydrated and clean. The texture is a bit funny, straight from the jar it comes out as a balm, but in contact with the skin it melts into a milky texture, and it feels incredibly pleasant on the skin. The product comes in a jar with a screw lid, you twist the lid and strips of the balm come out. Kind of like a cheese slicer inside 😝. The only negative is that it’s very hard to twist the jar open to get the product out. You have to really grip it, and if your hands are a bit wet, it’s even harder. Cool product
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test three products from #no7. Now it's time for a review of the Calm fix soothing pads. These pads are soaked with Cica extract and Niacinamide, which are supposed to soothe and hydrate the skin and should be used after cleansing but before other products. I find it nice to use these; it's a fun step in my routine, but I can't really say I notice any difference in my skin, maybe a bit more hydrated but unfortunately not more than that. The pads are well soaked with product, which is positive; one pad is enough for face, neck, and décolleté. The jar is quite large with a snap lid, which is convenient, but it's hard to store the jar nicely because of its size. Inside the jar, there is a plastic tweezer meant to help pick out a pad; the tweezer is flimsy and not very sturdy, so it's hard to use it—it tends to bend, so I end up picking up a pad with my fingers instead. Love it!
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try three products from #no7. And now it's time for the review. First up is Skin sip Moisture milk, which is supposed to hydrate and give radiance, it is enriched with hyaluronic acid and squalane, which my skin also loves. The texture is like a lightly flowing milky toner, I was a bit confused when I saw it and had to double-check if it was a toner I had received, but no. I love this one, it absorbs easily and really hydrates deeply. I think my skin looks fresher and more glowing when I use it. It also doesn't clash with my other skincare products. I have as #lykoinflutester tested some products from #björnaxen. Now it's time for a review of their Volume Conditioner. A bit about my hair: ⭐️ Thin and frizzy ⭐️ Quite dry lengths but oily scalp ⭐️ My hair usually prefers moisturizing products ⭐️ Washes hair every other day The bottle is sleek and looks nice on the shower shelf. It's hard to get the product out of the bottle for some reason, you have to shake the bottle hard several times to get it out. The conditioner has a thick and creamy consistency and is easy to distribute in the hair. What makes me hesitate about this conditioner is that it states it should be used on the scalp, normally conditioner is applied to the lengths, and since my scalp tends to be oily, I hesitate to use this there. The scent is not a favorite, it smells strong. A bit like a men's fragrance, it doesn't smell bad just strongly masculine. And the scent lingers in the hair afterwards. I used the conditioner as the instructions said and massaged it into the lengths and scalp. I feel that the conditioner is not very moisturizing as my hair became quite dry and felt rough afterwards, which in a way made it okay to use the conditioner on the scalp as I didn't notice any negative effect there. Volume-wise, I didn't notice much difference, possibly the hair felt a bit airier afterwards. I have as #lykoinflutester tested some products from #björnaxen. Now it's time for a review of their Volume Shampoo. A bit about my hair: ⭐️ Thin and frizzy ⭐️ Quite dry lengths but oily scalp ⭐️ My hair usually prefers moisturizing products ⭐️ Wash my hair every to every other day The bottle is sleek and looks nice on the shower shelf, it's easy to get the product out. The shampoo lathers very well, I usually shampoo twice and with this shampoo it lathers up nicely on the first go. The scent is not a favorite, it smells strong. A bit like a men's fragrance, it doesn't smell bad just strongly masculine. And the scent lingers in the hair afterwards. I find that this shampoo dries out my lengths, the hair feels and looks quite dry and rough afterwards. In terms of volume, I don't notice any immediate difference, possibly the scalp feels a bit airier right after. Smells strong but effective
I got to test a bunch of products from #björnaxen and next up to be reviewed is the Volume thickening spray. It’s a volumizing spray with caffeine and rice protein that should be used on damp hair. A little about my hair. ⭐️ My hair reaches just below my shoulders. ⭐️ Basically uncolored, has some remnants of bleaching left in the ends. ⭐️ My lengths are dry and my scalp is a bit oily which means I need to wash my hair every other day. ⭐️ My hair gets easily frizzy. ⭐️ My hair has become much thinner over the years. ⭐️ I prefer moisturizing products instead of repairing ones. The scent of this is the same as their volume blow dry cream that I wrote about earlier. The scent is strong and lingers in the hair for a long time. The spray function on this is really good, it gives a nice and big mist which helps to distribute the spray. I spray it in towel-dried hair, in the scalp of course, and then blow-dry it in properly. It really gives volume that lasts and I don’t experience any uncomfortable product feel. The hair feels clean and fresh with a lot of volume. Strong scent
I got to test a bunch of products from #björnaxen and the first one to be reviewed is the Volume blow dry cream. It’s a volumizing styling cream with hyaluronic acid among other things. A little about my hair. ⭐️ My hair reaches just below my shoulders. ⭐️ Basically uncolored, has some remnants of bleaching left in the ends. ⭐️ My lengths are dry and my scalp is a bit oily which means I need to wash my hair every other day. ⭐️ My hair gets easily frizzy. ⭐️ My hair has become much thinner over the years. ⭐️ I prefer moisturizing products instead of repairing ones. The scent of this is strong and has some tendencies towards men's perfume, it doesn't smell bad though, just quite strong. The scent lingers in the hair for a long time. I feel that the cream doesn’t moisturize the lengths very well, it contains protein and my hair usually doesn’t appreciate that much as it feels like the lengths get drier. I would like to apply some oil after this. However, it gives good volume when you blow-dry it properly. And the styling holds really well. Active Eye Mask
I have as #lykoinflutester tested some products from #versoskincare and the last one to be tested is their Retinoate eye patches. A bit about my skin: 💥45 years 💥Fairly normal, can get a bit dry sometimes. 💥Can get a bit puffy around the eyes 💥Fine lines but no permanent wrinkles yet. 💥Used to strong products like retinol, acids, etc. The eye mask comes in a user-friendly packaging, it is easy to open and the masks come with a protective film that is easy to remove. There is plenty of serum on them, so I took some of the excess and rubbed it on the tops of my hands. The eye mask sits well around the eyes without sliding around. While I had them on, I felt a slight tingling, not painful at all, but I could feel that there was an active ingredient working. Afterwards, the skin around my eyes was soft and looked hydrated, a bigger change was hard to see after just one time. This is a product that should be used a couple of times a week to see results, so I didn't expect any miracles after one time. Cooling
I have as #lykoinflutester received some products from #versoskincare to test, and next up to be reviewed are their Energizing eye patches. The product is said to be intensely moisturizing and strengthening and should refresh tired skin. Sounds perfect for a pair of 45-year-old eyes ✨ I don't have any real concerns about my eyes, I have of course gotten a few fine lines and tend to get a bit puffy around the eyes. They come in a jar that holds 30 pairs of eyepatches, it also comes with a small spatula for easier pickup. There is a lot of serum in the jar so all the patches are well soaked. I always store such products in the fridge because I want that cooling effect. They are easy to apply and stay in place without sliding around. I have them on for about 20 minutes and then massage in the excess. The result is very moisturizing, I also feel that they reduce puffiness at least temporarily. That could also be because I store the jar in the fridge and the cold depuffs a bit ☺️ Overall a nice product that moisturizes well and gives a lovely cooling sensation.1 product in post Cooling118 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Pleasant
I have as #lykoinflutester tested some products from #versoskincare and first up in the test is their hydro soothing mask. The mask is supposed to be very moisturizing and soothing and provide increased elasticity and glow. I stored my mask in the fridge before application to get a cooling effect. The mask itself comes in two parts, one for the upper part of the face and one for the lower part. It is a bit "slippery" and it was a bit tricky to remove the protective film. But once in place on the face, the mask stayed put, it didn't slide around. I left it on for 20 minutes and then massaged the excess product into my face and then my usual skincare. It is very moisturizing and pleasant, the skin became plump and a bit glowy afterwards. It worked well with my other products without starting to roll off. Overall a lovely mask, no wow experience but nice. I can imagine buying it to give my skin an extra moisture boost when it feels extra dry and dull.1 product in post Pleasant185 views
