Dreamy scent & light feeling on the skin
SOL DE JANEIRO BODY BADALADA It has a slightly lighter and smoother texture than Bum Bum Cream, which makes it absorb quickly into the skin without leaving any heavy feeling. And even though it feels so light on the skin, the scent lasts and the skin is left wonderfully soft and moisturized! I also love that it comes in a handy pump bottle, so practical and easy to dose. Since it is a lightweight lotion, it’s perfect for daily use. If you’re looking for more intense hydration, it’s better to go for the classic Bum Bum Cream. Absorbs quickly, light on the skin
The consistency of a body lotion is actually very important to me, and this one is truly perfect! I love thin and light formulas that hydrate the skin properly but still absorb quickly and don’t leave the skin sticky. A plus is if it gives the skin a glow, which this one does!🥰👌 As a reference, I also really like Vaseline’s Hya Gluta series, especially for the super light formula, but now that we’re heading into fall and winter, I’m more drawn to warmer and more gourmand scents. That’s why I really think Body Badalada in the 62 version is a perfect alternative! If you like the light feel of Hya Gluta but are looking for a different scent, I truly believe you’ll love this one just as much. There are several different scents of Body Badalada, but of course, I chose the iconic Cheirosa 62 scent with pistachio, salted caramel, and vanilla, which makes it super delicious on its own but also perfect for layering with e.g. SdJ 62 and 71, as well as with other vanilla and caramel scents of course🧡 I like that it comes in 400 ml and is also very economical, so you don’t need to use much at a time. It’s also available in a smaller size, 100 ml, perfect to take on trips or just to try! There’s also a glow version if you want even more glow, but I think this one already gives a really nice and natural glow🌟✨ Bonus points for the pump bottle! It’s sooo much easier with a pump bottle than having to squeeze lotion out of a tube or dig into a jar. It minimizes mess and makes it very easy to use. I’ve really fallen for Sol de Janeiro Body Badalada! This is the kind of body lotion I actually look forward to using after the shower – and a lot of that is because of the amazing scent. 🥹🤍 The first thing I like is the texture. It feels light and smooth on the skin and absorbs quickly, so I don’t have to walk around feeling sticky afterward. That’s a big plus for me, especially when I want to get dressed pretty quickly. Lyko also describes it as a fast-absorbing lotion that leaves the skin soft and fragrant. But the scent is really what makes this one! 😭✨ I think it lasts a long time on the skin and makes me feel nicely scented long after I’ve applied it. It’s almost like an extra step of perfume in the routine. I also like that it comes in a 400 ml bottle with a pump. That’s so convenient! I don’t have to dig into a jar and can just pump out the right amount. Plus, 400 ml feels like a big and generous amount that will last a long time. 🤍 The formula contains, among other things, hyaluronic acid for hydration as well as ingredients rich in vitamins E and K. I think the skin feels soft and well cared for after use, while the lotion still feels light. Above all, I think it’s perfect after the shower when I want soft skin + an amazing scent in one step. And if you then match it with a body mist from Sol de Janeiro, it really becomes a deluxe scent bomb. 😂🍓✨ The only small downside for me is that it doesn’t feel quite as intensely moisturizing as a really rich body butter. If the skin is super dry, I’d probably choose something richer. But as an everyday lotion, I think it’s really lovely.
