    CeraVe

Can this be used to remove makeup and then follow up with CeraVe hydrating cleanser? I have normal to dry skin that is also sensitive. Will this work for me?

Hey Mira! ๐Ÿ˜€ What a great question youโ€™re asking! This fantastic cleanser works well to remove makeup and works well even if you have a sensitive skin type ๐Ÿ˜Š It also works well to follow up with CeraVe hydrating cleanser after using this to get a more deep-cleansing effect in a gentle way. This will start by breaking down all types of makeup and sebum, then the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser will remove all remaining product residues and leave the skin soft and hydrated ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ‘Œ So youโ€™ve found a perfect combo!! Hope this answered your questions!

    Love!

Best one for dry and sensitive skin! This oil cleanser has become a must in my routine. It cleanses, moisturizes, and never irritates the skin. A big plus is that it doesn't irritate the eyes either!

    Gentleness and hydration in one!

This cleansing oil from CeraVe is a great product for the face and body that really surprised me positively! I used it both as a face wash and as a shower oil โ€“ and it performed very well in both roles. After washing, my skin was smooth, soft, and pleasantly hydrated, without any feeling of tightness or dryness. Especially on my face, I appreciated that the product does not disturb the hydrolipid barrier โ€“ my skin was soothed, comfortable, and free from any irritation. Interestingly, the product has no scent, which is both a plus and a minus. For sensitive skin, this is a huge advantage โ€“ the lack of fragrance means a lower risk of irritation. But as a shower oil, it lacks that freshness and fragrant "spa effect" that makes you feel refreshed and invigorated. If it had even a light aroma โ€“ it would be more relaxing for daily use. However, thanks to active ingredients like ceramides and squalane, which do a great job of caring for the skin's protective barrier, the product makes up for it with its effectiveness. It lathers well, rinses off easily, and does not leave a greasy layer, which is a huge plus for me. [hashtag] [hashtag]

I've bought this more times than I can count! For the last 2 years, I've only used this, it cleanses the skin well and doesn't feel like it strips the skin too much.

    Step?

Since it's an oil cleanser, should one use a hydrating one afterwards? Or a cleanser balm or something before since it's hydrating? Does it do both? Does it remove mascara, sunscreen, and dirt?

Hey there ๐Ÿ’Œ Thanks for your question โ€“ so great that youโ€™re interested in the CeraVe Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser! ๐ŸŒฟ This oil-based cleansing mousse is actually all-in-one, and is made to both remove dirt, sunscreen, and makeup, including mascara, while also adding moisture to the skin. It works well on its own, and thereโ€™s not necessarily a need for an extra hydrating cleanser or balm before it, unless you feel like doing a double cleanse. If you use a lot of makeup or sunscreen, you can start with a balm or micellar water to remove most of it, and then use this oil-based cleansing for a deeper clean. This cleanser is gentle and suitable for sensitive skin, so it removes both dirt and makeup without drying out the skin, thanks to ingredients like ceramides and hyaluronic acid๐Ÿ™Œ Wishing you a lovely day ahead!

    Oil-cleanser

It didn't quite fit my skin type.. my pores got completely clogged and I got several pimples on my face ๐Ÿ˜… It's recommended for others who don't have very oily skin, because it's quite thick and has a pretty oily feel to it. If you have a bit of dry skin, it might work.
