A Snällis! 🥰
I have soon used this product and I have liked it all the way. It is a light yellow cream that feels quite rich but absolutely not greasy. The light yellow color comes from the content of retinol, which is naturally light yellow and thus no added color. I have oily but dry skin that is sometimes very sensitive and sometimes not sensitive at all, and I have used this as the last step in my evening routine. The tube is only 20 ml, which I wasn't really aware of when I bought it. Usually, such products are at least 30 ml, and this tube has lasted me about 1.5 months, I think. The good thing is that the amount that is usually talked about actually lasts with this cream 🫛 It sinks nicely into the skin and leaves me with a feeling of sufficiency, if you can say so, meaning that I have gotten what I need in terms of both oil and moisture. It is very gentle and contains several soothing and strengthening ingredients. However, regarding the content of retinol, I haven't noticed it at all. This is the lightest variant, and I probably wouldn't choose it again since I am already used to retinol and imagine that I might need a little higher strength. However, low concentrations should not be underestimated, working on the skin barrier without irritation is actually worth its weight in gold. I need to remind myself of that, more is actually not always better. With that in mind, we have a really nice and gentle cream here that I would recommend to both beginners of retinol and others! Makes the skin really smooth and lovely! #lykoreview #COSRX #retinolTranslated from swedish

Combine retinol with glycolic acid?
Can I use this in combination with the glycolic acid toner from The Ordinary? Or should it be avoided on the evenings when I use this cream?Translated from norwegian
141 views- Customer service at Lyko1 weekHi Tonje, It is possible to combine retinol and glycolic acid, but it requires some caution. Both ingredients are powerful and can be strong on the skin, especially if used together⭐ When used together, it can lead to irritation, dryness, and sensitivity, especially if the skin is not used to these ingredients. To minimize the risk of irritation, it may be wise to use them at different times of the day (e.g. retinol in the evening and glycolic acid in the morning) or on different days🥰1 likes

Starting with retinol
Hi, I'm considering starting with retinol but I'm only 19 years old. I'm struggling with some bumps on my skin, small pimples, and lately I've gotten quite visible nasolabial lines. I also have some scars/marks on my skin that I can't get rid of. I've tried Cosrx AHA serum but didn't get rid of all the bumps. Is it a good idea to start with retinol, or will this ruin my skin?Translated from norwegian
123 views- Skin therapist at Lyko1 weekHi Marie 👋 If you experience impurities like bumps, there are a number of products that can be tested out first before using retinol! 🥰 Retinol increases the skin's natural cell renewal and works to remove dead skin cells, increases collagen production, reduces pigmentation spots, as well as reduces wrinkles and fine lines. It is among other things an actively exfoliating ingredient, which means it increases cell renewal and causes old skin cells on the skin surface to fall off. In this case, I would not recommend you use retinol as you are in the age group you are in, as it is not recommended to use retinol under the age of 25 🤞🏼 If you want guidance on product use for reducing bumps, you are welcome to take our free skin test! You can find this in our app under the "Beauty Scan" section 😍 Wishing you a nice day ahead 👋

Cosrx retinol 0.1
Which products should I use together with Cosrx retinol 0.1 cream before in the evening and in the morning after? For the best possible effect. Can this retinol cream be used around the eyes, or do I need a separate retinol eye cream? I can't find a separate cosrx retinol eye cream..Translated from norwegian
131 views- Skin therapist at Lyko1 weekHeihei 👋 It depends a bit on what effect you want to achieve with the use of retinol 0.1 Cream, and which products you are using in your other skincare routines. What skin type and skin condition do you have - and any age? 🫶 Here you can feel free to take our free skin test so we can look over your skin to set up a recommended routine for using this product. You can find the skin test in our app under "Beauty Scan" 😍 If you want to use products with retinol around the eye area, it is recommended to use products that are specified for the delicate eye area since the skin we have under the eyes is much thinner than the rest of the face. My best advice here would be to look for eye creams that contain retinol or bakuchiol 🥰 lyko.com/no/skin1004/skin1004-madagascar-centella-probio-cica-bakuchiol-eye-cream-20ml lyko.com/no/beauty-of-joseon/beauty-of-joseon-revive-eye-serum-ginseng---retinal-30-ml Wishing you a nice day ahead!

Product Question
Hi, I wonder if this is best to use at night, for example? I have understood that it shouldn't be combined with certain other substances, I use both cosrx aha toner, The 6 peptide, power essence, all in one cream, and the eye cream... But I think this might be good for the evening?? And do you apply this last, after the all in one cream? 🤪🤔 Best regardsTranslated from swedish
1346 views- Customer service at Lyko1 monthHey Catrine 👋 Yes, COSRX The Retinol 0.1 Cream is best used in the evening, as retinol makes the skin more sensitive to the sun. Since you are using COSRX AHA Toner, you should not use retinol and AHA on the same evening – it can be too much exfoliation and irritate the skin. Here’s how the routines can look 👇 🌙 Evening routine with retinol (without AHA): Cleansing The 6 Peptide Power Essence All in One Cream Retinol (applied last, as it is a heavier cream) Eye cream 🌓 Evening routine with AHA (without retinol): Cleansing COSRX AHA Toner The 6 Peptide Power Essence All in One Cream Eye cream Since you are new to retinol, 0.1% is a good starting point. Start with 2 times a week and gradually increase if your skin tolerates it. If it feels good after a few weeks, you might consider going up to 0.3%, but that’s not a must. And remember sunscreen during the day! ☀️ Retinol makes the skin more sensitive to UV radiation. Hope that helps! 🤗✨2 likes

Is this a good beginner retinol?
I am 20 years old and was thinking of using retinol a little cautiously to prevent wrinkles, is this a good product for that?Translated from swedish
1279 views- Customer service at Lyko2 monthsHey Hannah 👋😊 If you absolutely want to start, it's good to begin with. Start cautiously and feel free to do a patch test on your wrist or behind your ear, wait 24 hours to see how your skin reacts. Start carefully with 1-2 times a week 😊👍 Don't forget a moisturizer afterwards as retinol dries out the skin and be sure to use sun protection since retinol makes the skin extra sensitive to the sun 🤍 Otherwise, we recommend that retinol doesn't need to be used under 25 😊 Good luck 🤩1 likes

I just discovered that my 13-year-old daughter is using this product. I would think it's strongly recommended to avoid with such young skin?Translated from norwegian
1084 views- Skin therapist at Lyko2 monthsHi Tonje 👋 Yes, for such young skin, I would absolutely advise against using products with retinol! Since she is as young as she is, the most important thing is that she sticks to gentle products that help strengthen, protect, and balance the skin. Too many and too active ingredients at a young age can create an imbalance in the skin that will lead to many challenges later on - we definitely want to avoid that 🥰 Wishing you a nice day✨1 likes

Age
Hi, what age is this product suitable for? I'm thinking about the fact that it contains retinol.Translated from swedish
1480 views- Customer service at Lyko2 monthsHey Saga 🤗 Since this is a mild retinol product, it’s great for beginners in retinol. Retinol is often recommended from 25+ to combat early signs of aging and improve skin texture. You can start using it earlier if you want to work preventively or treat specific skin issues, such as uneven skin tone or acne. Good luck 🥰

retinol with other serums
hi, I was wondering if this cream can be combined with the «Wonder Releaf Centella Serum» from Purito. Can they possibly be used in the same evening routine, and if not, is it okay to use them on different evenings?😊Translated from norwegian
