💖 I received the product for free as a #LYKOINFLUTESTER. I got to test a series of skincare products from #KORAORGANICS. This moisturizer contains bakuchiol, which, as the name suggests, is normally used as an alternative to low-concentration retinol. My skin is dry, sensitive, and acne-prone, without signs of aging. Besides a mild PHA peeling, I don’t use any ingredients with anti-aging properties other than as spot treatment for PIH, and I’m also cautious with oils. With this + the fact that my nemesis shea butter is high on the ingredient list, I prepared myself not to tolerate the cream. But my picky skin has been happy! It feels soft and fresh, and has become really hydrated and nourished. In summer, the cream would have been too heavy, but here in the cooler times, it’s perfect. However, I haven’t been able to use it daily with my usual skincare routine, as I’ve gotten clogged pores, but it has worked fine every other day with just toner underneath. My skin hasn’t been irritated by bakuchiol either, so it seems to be mild in formulation. The cream comes in a replaceable pod, which I love, hooray for sustainability thinking! The actual storage is then a heavy glass jar with the absolute prettiest lid ever, it’s really SO pretty, luxurious, and fun! The consistency isn’t super heavy, but if you take too much, it can easily leave a sticky feeling on the skin, so keep in mind that it’s concentrated and apply with moderation. It has a strong herbal scent, which isn’t a favorite here, but most of it fades quickly, and then an earthy scent lingers. Plus for being organic and vegan 🌱 They really emphasize the plant stem cells in the product, and I guess that also contributes to the higher price, so I must mention that scientifically it’s unclear whether plant stem cells in skincare achieve anything at all. Bakuchiol has documented effects, but I’m skeptical about pushing hard for plant stem cells and raising the price because of that. I also saw that the product has been "filtered through crystals" and I REALLY hope that hasn’t affected it further... 😬 ⭐️ All in all, I have a positive overall impression. I haven’t been blown away, but I also think its benefits show best on someone with a bit more mature or tired skin. So if you’re a dry person looking to plump and refresh the skin, prioritize vegan and organic, tolerate herbal scents, and are willing to pay a little extra for everyday luxury, then I think it could be a perfect fit!13 likes538 viewsCaroline

I have been so lucky to test this cream from Kora Organics. My starting point: a bit of dull autumn skin, normal/lightly dry. First of all, I have never had such a beautiful cream in my cabinet before. Not that I am someone who cares so much about packaging. I also love everything Kora Organics stands for, and I am really interested in testing more from the brand. Natural ingredients that are not harmful to the skin are a plus! Additionally, you can buy refills for this, lovely I have previous experience with plant stem cell skincare, as I have been a big fan of the Edelweiss series from The Bodyshop. These two series differ from each other, this one is much creamier and more moisturizing, as I experience it. My first impression is the color of the cream. It is a bit grayish. The second thing I notice as I apply the cream to my face is the scent. It’s not that great, smells a bit strange. But I notice that the cream has a rich and nice consistency. It applies well to the skin. Winter has just begun to set in on the west coast, and I usually tend to get drier at this time, but with this cream in my cabinet, I doubt I will have such a period this year. My skin really likes this cream! I have used it both day and night. It absorbs well while being rich, nice to apply makeup on. I can’t comment on the aging signs after such a short time. But with such a rich cream, I am sure the moisture level is at its peak #LYKOINFLUTESTER & #KORAORGANICS61 viewsBeatrice

As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try this ultra-nourishing face cream from #koraorganics along with two other products from KORA Organics. The face cream is supposed to be an alternative to retinol cream and gently treat lines and wrinkles. I have dry, sensitive skin with fine lines and the beginning of wrinkles, so I look forward to seeing what results I can get with these products. I have now used this face cream along with the two other products for about 1 month, and my experience is this... The face cream is a bit heavier in consistency and should be warmed up in the palm before applying to the face. The scent is quite weak, which is an advantage since I’m not particularly fond of it. I don’t think the cream is very economical, as the recommended amount of "a pearl size" is not enough for the face, neck, or décolletage for that matter. For me, the cream worked well as an ordinary moisturizer, nothing more. So it’s not something I will continue to use. 3 out of 5 ❤️+1

2 days agoVerifierad testareNever penetrates my skin
As a #lykoinflutester, it's always exciting to test products I haven't tried before. This time it was three skincare products from #koraorganics, a brand I hadn't heard of before. I read about the products that are both organic and vegan👩🔬 With my mature skin, these products seemed to suit me well. I'm generally very fond of purple, but this jar gave me a feeling of toy crystals in plastic for kids. I was also a bit surprised that the cream was gray, almost as if it contained clay or charcoal. The cream smells uncomfortably strong, even though it is milder than the serum in the same line. The consistency is a bit strange, somewhat sticky in a way, and I can't get it to absorb properly into my skin. It sits on top of my skin and feels sticky for a long time. Unfortunately, these products were not for me⭐️⭐️ Plus for being able to buy refills.+1

2 days agoVerifierad testareSuper lovely moisturizer
I received this luxurious, organic moisturizer from Kora Organics as a #lykoinflutester, and I really love it. My skin is mature (turning 50 in a few months) and tends towards dryness, which seems to be a perfect combo for this cream. The cream is super soft and a bit "slimy". It may not sound so lovely, but it really is. You don't need to use much at all to cover the entire face, and the skin feels absolutely incredible hydrated afterwards. The skin feels soft and supple all day, and I think it feels a bit firmer after use. Light scent that quickly disappears, which is nice for me as I am quite sensitive to scents. The cream itself comes in a pod that you then place in the glass jar, and then you just buy the pod when you run out of the cream for the first time. Super smart! The jar is fun, but I think it looks more like a budget brand, which is a shame. The only thing I have against it is that the cream is apparently supposed to have been filtered through crystals, which feels like pure hocus pocus, but probably affects the price. They can skip that little step, but other than that, a total hit for me! #koraorganics+2
