Nice eye cream
Lovely eye cream with a wonderful consistency that sinks in quickly. I find that the applicator is perfect for this product as you get exactly as much as you need for applying cream around both eyes with one pump. Thanks to the applicator giving you just the right amount, this product will last longer. A big disappointment!
I had heard a lot of good things about this eye cream and ultimately chose it over Some By Mi Retinol Intense Advanced Triple Action, just because so many experts and users described it as perfect for beginners with retinol. According to several reviews and skin advisors, it was supposed to both hydrate, brighten, and help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. I used it regularly both morning and night ā around the eyes and sometimes even in larger areas of the face. The tube lasted just over five months, which I think is generous for an eye cream. Unfortunately, I noticed no visible results. Neither immediately nor after several months of use did I see any difference in lines, dark circles, or skin texture. A big disappointment considering how much the product has been hyped. The feeling is that it simply wasnāt strong enough to provide noticeable effects on my skin. For those looking for more visible results ā especially when it comes to lines, dark circles, and dryness under the eyes. It likely requires a stronger formula with a higher dose of retinol and more active ingredients. There are still positive sides. The cream has a very pleasant consistency, hydrates well, and never caused me any irritation or dryness, which is a big plus ā especially for sensitive skin. Azelaic acid works to calm the skin and it is pigment evening. It is rated as relatively mild compared to some strong acids (AHA/BHA) and retinoids, which makes it a good step for "the next level" in active ingredients. It is important to test it through a patch test for 24 hours before applying it to the face, to know how your skin reacts. And SPF! When you use products that make the skin sensitive, you must have SPF all seasons. š¤ For new skin, it is good to start with a product that has 10% azelaic acid. Gradually incorporate it over a period during evenings when you are not using retinal/retinol or other strong acids, and increase gradually š Be patient ā give the product 6-8 weeks before you assess its effect on e.g. pigmentation/uneven skin tone. Caution
The product seemed absolutely wonderful at first. However, I would be super cautious with it if you have somewhat sensitive skin. At first, my skin didnāt say anything about it, but after a few days, my skin started to peel, and it burned and stung a lot. I immediately stopped using the product when I noticed my skin peeling. Now Iām healing my under-eye area. It looks like the product has "melted" my skin š„ŗ I donāt dare to use the product anymore. I used it once a day, always in the evenings, a small drop.
