The OrdinaryRetinol 0.2% in Squalane 30 ml
This water-free solution contains 0.2% Retinol, a well-studied ingredient that aims to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and textural irregularities. While Retinol has been studied extensively, it can be irritating to the skin for first-time users and requires a build up of skin tolerance. For this reason, we generally recommend using Granactive Retinoid 2% or Granactive Retinoid 5% for first-time users. This formula also offers hydrating benefits due to the presence of Squalane.
The Ordinary’s portfolio of retinoids includes the following formulations:
Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion (Moderate Strength, No Irritation)
Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane (Moderate Strength, No Irritation)
Granactive Retinoid 5% in Squalane (High Strength, No to Low Irritation)
Retinol 0.2% in Squalane (Low Strength, Moderate Irritation)
Retinol 0.5% in Squalane (Moderate Strength, High Irritation)
Retinol 1% in Squalane (High Strength, Very High Irritation) Note: When pregnant or breastfeeding, it is recommended to avoid any skincare products containing retinoids such as formulations with Granactive Retinoid or Retinol.
Apply a small amount to face in the PM as part of your skincare regimen, after water serums but before heavier treatments. Do not use with other retinoid treatments. Avoid unprotected solar exposure. Store in a cool, dry place

3 days agoCombine Retinol with Other Products
I am in my 30s with normal skin and considering starting to use retinol. How and when do you recommend using it and in combination with which other products? I was thinking of using it every evening after cleansing and toner (do you have any recommendations here?) as well as before a moisturizing night cream. In the morning, I was thinking of going for a vitamin C serum after cleansing and toner and before a moisturizing day cream. Feel free to comment!68 viewsMaria L.
Customer service at Lyko2 days agoHey Johan! Your planned routine sounds super! Retinol needs to be introduced to the skin, so I recommend starting 1-2 times a week in the evening and then slowly increasing usage Here are some tips for cleansing and toner that go well with it lyko.com/sv/cosrx/cosrx-low-ph-good-morning-gel-cleanser-150-ml-b3e84c32 lyko.com/sv/dr.-ceuracle/dr.-ceuracle-hyal-reyouth-toner-120ml Then you can use your vitamin C during the day and on the evenings you don't use retinol Good luck and take care!
