Like a time travel, but the bad kind 🥹
I have had acne problems since my teenage years, where it has gone in waves. A little over two years ago, I finally went to a dermatologist and got help. I was on isotretinoin for a little over 7 months and finally got rid of it. Since I stopped the treatment, I have only gotten a few isolated pimples. I use Niactil, which I love, and it has been great. But I thought about alternating with another serum with niacinamide to stretch it a bit. I wanted to try this since it had mostly received very good reviews. I am always cautious with new products and introduce them slowly and one at a time. I know that the skin can react to new products and that there can be “purging.” But I got a lot of new and inflamed pimples, big and painful. When I stopped using it, they disappeared; it might have stopped if I had continued. But I didn’t want to risk it getting worse again now that it has finally gotten better 🥹 #lykoreview1 product in post Like a time travel, but the bad kind 🥹1302 views- The comment was made 3 monthsGreat review! I use C vitamin during the day and Retinal at night, but I want to use this serum in my routine. My question is how can I use this serum in my routine? Thank you for the answer 😊1 product in post Hej19 views - The post was made 15 hoursRating: 5 out of 5verified customer

Very satisfied!
Very satisfied so far, can already see a difference. My pores have definitely become smaller. I use it both morning and night before my other products.1 product in post Very satisfied! - The post was made 1 weekRating: 4 out of 5verified customer
Best evening serum
So, I can only use this in the evenings before I go to sleep. Then it works really well. But as a daily serum or under makeup, it just peels my skin no matter what I do. Such a really good serum when I use it the right way for me😊1 product in post Best evening serum605 views - The post was made 2 weeks
Test again?
Hi! After spot-testing this on my arm for about 1 week where I noticed I didn't react, I started incorporating it into my skincare routine. However, I quickly noticed that small, tiny pimples appeared on my face after use. I stopped using the product after just 1 week. I am still interested in niacinamide, especially in combination with salicylic acid, which I have already been using in my routine for quite some time (also the one from The Ordinary). My question is finally whether I should have continued testing this product for more than 1 week and see if the small breakouts went away, or should I try another niacinamide product?🌸☺️1 product in post Test again?657 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 1 weekHi Embla😊 Thank you for sharing your experience so clearly✨ Small breakouts after starting a new active product like niacinamide can sometimes be due to the skin adjusting, but it can also be a sign that that particular formulation doesn’t suit your skin. Since you’re already using salicylic acid, the combination may have become a bit too active for your skin right now. Choosing to pause after a week is wise — especially if your skin reacted immediately. One tip could be to let your skin rest for a while, and then try a milder niacinamide product (preferably with lower concentration) separately, before combining it with other active ingredients again. Ideally, try on completely different days and don’t combine. Here’s another tip to try that also has soothing properties with propolis: lyko.com/sv/beauty-of-joseon/beauty-of-joseon-glow-serum-propolis-niacinamide-30-ml Hope the answer can be helpful and that you have a super nice day🌞1 likes

Help 🥲
I've gotten a lot of pimples since I started using this product, is that normal at the beginning?1 product in post Help 🥲990 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 3 weeksHi Fannie😊 Thank you for your question✨ I understand. It’s not uncommon for the skin to react at the beginning of a new routine, but niacinamide usually doesn’t cause "purging" like active acids do. It could instead be that the skin doesn’t thrive with the high concentration (10%) or with this particular formulation. You are definitely not alone in experiencing this – sometimes niacinamide doesn’t suit all skin types. If you need help finding a milder alternative, we are here! Wishing you a super nice day🌞

Niacinamide
Hi, I use it on my face and love it. I wonder if it can also be used under the eyes? Thanks in advance1 product in post Niacinamide1139 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 1 monthHi Ludmila😊 Thank you for your question, and how fun that you love The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%!✨ When it comes to using the product around the eyes, it’s important to be careful since the skin there is thinner and more sensitive. Some may experience irritation or redness if the product is applied too close to the eye area. I therefore recommend avoiding applying it directly under the eyes. If you want something specific for the eye area, an eye cream or serum tailored for this area might be a better alternative, like this one: lyko.com/sv/the-ordinary/the-ordinary-caffein-solution-5--egcg I hope my answer can be helpful and that you have a super nice day🌞
