What kind of routine can I create with these skincare products?
I have long suffered from various types of skin issues (dryness, acne, acne scars, redness, and large pores) and have tried many different products that haven't felt helpful. I just bought several skincare products that I hope will help, but I'm not sure in what order to use the products or what a good and effective skincare routine would be. I would also gladly accept product recommendations that could complement my routine.1 product in post What kind of routine can I create with these skincare products?3764 views - Most helpful negativeThe user's roll: Lyko Creator. Like a time travel, but the bad kind 🥹
I have had acne problems since my teenage years, where it has gone in waves. A little over two years ago, I finally went to a dermatologist and got help. I was on isotretinoin for a little over 7 months and finally got rid of it. Since I stopped the treatment, I have only gotten a few isolated pimples. I use Niactil, which I love, and it has been great. But I thought about alternating with another serum with niacinamide to stretch it a bit. I wanted to try this since it had mostly received very good reviews. I am always cautious with new products and introduce them slowly and one at a time. I know that the skin can react to new products and that there can be “purging.” But I got a lot of new and inflamed pimples, big and painful. When I stopped using it, they disappeared; it might have stopped if I had continued. But I didn’t want to risk it getting worse again now that it has finally gotten better 🥹 #lykoreview1 product in post Like a time travel, but the bad kind 🥹1838 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. I always have this at home and it does a lot for my pores. When I don't have this in my routine, I notice a difference in my skin.1 product in post Favorite105 views - The post was made 2 days
Oily skin
Hi! I have problems with oily skin. I have tried different skincare products, everything from expensive to cheaper options. I'm wondering if this product would work? Or do you have any other alternatives? What else do you recommend as a product if I start using this? Thanks!126 views- The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. The comment was made 1 dayHi Frida 😊 This can definitely be a good option for oily skin. Niacinamide helps balance sebum production, reduce shine, and can also help pores appear less prominent. It’s a great ingredient to start with if you want to work with oily and acne-prone skin in a gentle way. If you’re new to Niacinamide, it might be good to use a product with a lower percentage, for example this one: lyko.com/sv/by-lyko/by-lyko-sassy-glassy-niacinamide-serum-30-ml Remember to cleanse your skin thoroughly morning and evening and use a suitable face cream afterwards. Have a nice day! 💌

Very drying if you use too much
I've used this for about 3 years without major issues, but this winter my skin couldn't handle it anymore. It became so incredibly dry, I can now only use it once a week to avoid the skin becoming too dry, so it might be good to keep in mind if you have dry skin to experiment and not start using it both morning and evening at once since niacinamide can be drying. However, the best and most affordable niacinamide serum I've tried1 product in post Very drying if you use too much620 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Do under
It's a bit too much for my sensitive face, but using it on the body is no problem. It has really helped to even out my skin! #lykoreview1 product in post Do under988 views - The post was made 1 month
Question
Hi, may I ask, does this product help my skin? I have acne, acne scars, and sensitive skin. Thank you952 views- The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. The comment was made 1 monthHey Selina! 🥰 Yes, it may help prevent breakouts, balance oil production, and smooth out skin texture. It’s great for acne-prone skin. If your skin is sensitive, I recommend trying it first on a small area and a few times a week. You can increase usage if it doesn’t cause sensitivity or other reactions 🩷

Mixing
Hi! Is there anything that you absolutely shouldn't use together with this serum?834 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 1 monthHi Sabina😊 Niacinamide 10% 2B Zinc 1% works well with most products, but avoid using it at the same time as pure vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) or strong AHA/BHA acids, as it can irritate the skin. Otherwise, it’s fine to combine it with hyaluronic acid, moisturizing creams, peptides, and retinol. Hope the answer can be helpful✨1 likes
