🍉💦 A serum that gives that perfect dewy feeling!
I’ve really fallen for Smuuti Skin Watermelon Dew Serum! 🍉🤍 This is exactly the kind of serum I like when I want to give my skin lots of moisture and at the same time get that nice, fresh glow. The first thing I noticed was the texture. It feels a bit gel-like and wonderfully rich when I apply it, but I still think it absorbs surprisingly quickly into the skin. I usually take a few drops after toner and then follow up with face cream. ✨ What I like the most is the glow! 😭 The skin really gets such a nice, dewy finish and looks more hydrated and fresh. I also think it works really well under makeup – the base sits nicely on top and the skin gets an extra fresh feeling. This is actually something several Lyko reviews also highlight. And even though the name says Watermelon, it’s actually free from added fragrances. 😂🍉 I know some might be a bit disappointed if they expect a strong watermelon scent, but personally, I think that’s a big plus. I’d rather have a good serum than a lot of perfume in skincare. The formula contains three different molecular sizes of hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, glycerin, watermelon extract, and centella asiatica. I think the combination is perfect when the skin feels dry or a bit tired and needs a proper moisture boost. I also like that it’s so easy to use. It’s the kind of serum I can throw into both my morning and evening routine without having to think too much. 🥹🤍 The only small downside is that I understand why some might find it a bit sticky if you use too much. I really think a few drops are enough – then I get the glow and moisture without the skin feeling overloaded. For me, this is above all a really good moisture and glow serum. I think it’s a really nice serum. Perfect as a prep for the skin before cream. For everyday use, it’s too sticky for me, but perfect for the night. I see many people are disappointed by the lack of scent, but for me that’s a big plus – it doesn’t cause allergies.
