Lathers well, smells mild, and is economical to use. I think it cleans well without drying out the skin. I like that this has new packaging with a pump. It helps with how much you use. Unfortunately not as good as its predecessor
I've been using Gentle Cleanser for several years. This is supposed to be the replacement. Daily Gel Cleanser is not as good. My skin feels sore and rough after using it for several weeks. I also don't feel like it cleans well. I loved Elixir's previous gentle cleanser, and was recommended to use this as a replacement. I've had 6 weeks of breakouts… And these are not small pimples, it feels like my whole face is throbbing boils. It also doesn't remove eye makeup as well as the gentle cleanser. Hi! Does this Gel Cleanser replace the one called Hydractil Gentle Cleanser? The previous Hydractil Gentle Cleanser had a description that said it removed light eye makeup, and that was true.
